Going to tell this again in regards to Mint.

I was at a convention with over 900 attendees in 2019. My phone didn't have band 71 (I don't know if that would have made a difference). I consistently had 0.01Mbps downstream and my data cap was not reached. Someone else speedtested right after me on T-mobile's main network and got at least 10Mbps.

Prepare to get deprioritized to the ground when the network gets crowded. Not saying that you shouldn't get Mint. Just know what you are paying for, a deprioritized plan.

Mainline carriers and MVNOs need to publicly disclose what QCI tier you will be placed on in regards to your given plan, and what that might look like in the real world when the network gets crowded.

Sad how mint takes existing customers for granted and deals like this for New customers exist. Churn actually costs more to companies in the long run.. not as much as it used to however still more $$

A prepaid carriers churn is much different than a postpaid. Without a phone deal, churn is not as much of a factor. They know people manipulate these deals. As long as they are getting business as a MVNO they are good.

I'm paying $15 a month with no discount on mint vs my original $70 a month with a corporate discount on ATT. I'm a pretty happy existing customer who's got $55 extra in my pocket. Not sure what more you are looking for.

This deal is $10/month 10gb data for 3 months vs $15 a month for 4gb.. and mint cant spare a few $ off a yearly reup for existing customers who get fleeced with higher below the line fees each year. That is a priorities issue...many millenials dont really care much about a permanent number, while older folks know it as part and parcel of an identity.
