The same with Makita website This saw is 5100rpm vs sidewinder which is 6000rpm

Again, not a worm drive saw. The RPM's you are correct, I looked at the wrong saw. The only thing I can think of as far as the RPM being different is that the rear handle has a slightly higher cutting capacity so they may have tweaked the motor a bit.

The deal expired but if you see the ad posted advertise in-store, take a picture, and try to get the deal that way. I have done it with Lowes but has been difficult with Home Depot.

First of all, the deal is no expired, in runs through the 30th.

Second of all, if one Home Depot has the saw but is not running the deal, buy it and take it do a Home Depot that is running the deal, grab the batteries, and do a return and rebuy it.
