Very annoying to control but pretty good for the price and maybe the new Cync app will make it better.

They do need a hub but there are lots of options. The Amazon echo plus works as a hub. Maybe you already have one.

I have about 6 different brands of smart bulbs. I don't use the 2 of these that I got free with my Google homes. I kept having issues with having to delete and reconfigure them. Everything else in the house works fine

I rarely have issues with mine. It's pretty convenient when I am feeling extra lazy in bed to turn out the lights.

don't these bulbs need the special GE hub/plug to work with Alexa? or did I read the reviews wrong? Frown

Mine works with just my Google Hub. I haven't tried it with Alexa.

Looks like the Bluetooth only version. The direct connect lights are probably going on sale soon then too

Yeah google home and smart bulbs of different brands don't get along well.

Got the Best Buy deal from a few months ago along with the Lenovo smart speaker and installed them in the basement. Have worked flawlessly and dims well. Ordered a pair. Thanks!

I have a mixture of the Walmart ones and wyze and when I control the wyze it does the Walmart ones and vise versa so I justify use the app.

All you need is a phone to control these. I paid 20 a couple years ago and rarely use them. They are good for mornings or nighttime when you don't want it too bright. They let off a old school yellowish tone or maybe that's just how dim looks. The app is pretty easy but i will say I have never been able to use both bulbs at the same time for some reason because they won't both pair for me on several different sets of lights. I have one in a lamp in one room and one is n the other room. I'm pretty sure I've had them paired with both Alexa and google home but not at the same time.
