Maybe I just got a bad batch, or my local(?) Amazon printer isn't as good as printers in other parts of the country, but I probably wouldn't order from them again.

I ordered a friggn air conditioner and it came the next day. Dead ass.. I wasn't even prepared for it because Amazon said it was supposed to come the day after so I had to change my plans for the day since I live in a 3 floor walk-up.
Then they wound up coming at 5:30am to deliver..
I have only printed on amazon a few times when it's a deal like this, free. And usually it's just of a single picture to hand out to families so they can put on their fridge. The quality is slightly lower. Costco used to have good printing but now that's gone too.
I was not impressed and ended up not using the photo because it was so bad.

I don't
Overall, it is good picture quality and free. Great for personal use. But I wouldn't use it as a gift to anyone. I prefer Adorama, Costco, Sams Club for that

You're not the only one....my photos looked "blown out" and the quality was not great. Def would not use them for hi-res or photos I would prominently display, but for "just to have", it serves it's purpose. I was honestly surprised tho with how low quality the actual photos were. 🤷🏽 ♂️
I can also vouch for mpix. Used them for quite some time since my local Sam's got rid of their photo lab.
Thanks for suggesting mpix. I was getting ready to order from shutterfly because i wasn't the picture date printed on the back and i didn't know anyone else that did this. Then i checked out mpix and they will print the first 20 characters of the filename on that back, which serves the purpose in looking for as I put the year and month in the filename. Because they're alot more expensive I'll probably just use them for my better photos though.

My monitor is calibrated correctly with i1Display Pro Plus. Even the prints that were calibrated using the X-Rite Passport Photo came out wrong.
I don't print much but I've tried Walgreens when the free deals come around and the prints are also terrible. Everything is green for Walgreen prints.
The most accurate was Costco store prints because you could actually get the actual printer profile loaded into Lightroom.
Unfortunately, Costco has closed all their in-store Photo Center.
