I got this for my desk to do near field monitoring. It mixes sound from my two computers and Alexa. I have it hooked up to an old user Yamaha receiver, a pair of used old speakers (Cambridge Soundworks Ensemble III) and an old JVC subwoofer. It sounds amazing, and I can adjust the volume from each source independently. Very inexpensive. You'll need a 12v power supply.
PS I hate ALIX, but it came in a week and has been flawless.
