I mentioned the offer to my wife who is a Chase employee and she pulled it up on her internal system. It had a note that they had additional offers if you apply in a branch. You get the 100k points, 1st year AF waived, and a $50 grocery credit. So essentially an extra $145 for applying in the branch.
Wow. No brainer if you are eligible for the bonus.
I signed up for 80k offer just last week. Can I get chase to make it 100k?

So definitely not 100k points and waived fee in branch? 1 person reported back saying they came back from branch and it was still only 80k but anyone else go yet to confirm? Maybe their systems need time to update overnight
I had an email from Chase inviting me to apply for the Sapphire Preferred by June 2 to get the 80,000 bonus, and then they put out a 100,000 bonus on the 3rd.
Ha, yeah, I didn't wait and maybe am trying to soften the blow. But I did MDD and P2 is still in play.
Had no idea MDD still works these days, that trick is pretty old. But it's not like it will ever work for anyone with a bunch of chase cards and a sapphire already.

Can confirm. Their system at the branch showed 80,000 points
I'm waiting on that sweet Reserve offer to come back as to not blow my qualification on the Preferred.... Not sure it is gonna happen though.
What sweet offer for the Reserve? The best I've seen was 100K points back when it first came out few years ago which I got.
So if I'm currently own a Reserve which I got many year ago, can I downgrade or cancel and apply for this? I also had a preferred which I canceled more than 2 years ago.

I have the base Sapphire (not reserve nor preferred) for many years...do i qualify?
Has it been 48 months since you last received a bonus from a Sapphire card? If so you should qualify to receive this bonus.

If travel is booked through Chase, are the fares, rates etc. the same as if booking directly with the hotel or airline? I'd bet not.
