I mentioned the offer to my wife who is a Chase employee and she pulled it up on her internal system. It had a note that they had additional offers if you apply in a branch. You get the 100k points, 1st year AF waived, and a $50 grocery credit. So essentially an extra $145 for applying in the branch.
Wow. No brainer if you are eligible for the bonus.
I signed up for 80k offer just last week. Can I get chase to make it 100k?

I had this card in June 2017, and the bonus points was added to my account in August 2017. Question, if i apply today, will i still able to get the 100k point if i spend the 4k after 2 months later?
Can someone give me some advice? I have a CSR card with 200k points in it. I would love to apply for this card. .y option would be to downgrade my CSR to a Freedom card and then apply this card. Am I be losing .ore by losing the 50 percent extra which I can as pay yourself back.
Posting this just in case people trying to downgrade their card and apply or cancel card and apply. You will not be eligible for the bonus if you received the new card member bonus within the last 48 months.
The product is not available to either (i) current cardmembers of any Sapphire credit card, or (ii) previous cardmembers of any Sapphire credit card who received a new cardmember bonus within the last 48 months. If you are an existing Sapphire customer and would like this product, please call the number on the back of your card to see if you are eligible for a product change. You will not receive the new cardmember bonus if you change products.

if you open a chase business checking account could you open this card on that account?
I'm not sure I understand your question. This is for a credit card account which is different from the business checking account. You should be able to apply for this credit card regardless whether you have a business checking account or not.
So 100k points is the equivalent of 1000 dollar statement credit. So I was thinking of finally getting an 77 OLED for about 3kish plus another 1k points and then I can use the points to credit back to the card? Essentially making the 77 OLED about 2k$?
Just called chase the lady said regardless of when I open my sapphire Reserve I'm not allowed to have two sapphire cards in the same name. Is this true?
This is not true.
I had Preferred and downgraded to normal Sapphire so that I could sign up for Reserve. I currently have regular Sapphire and Reserve. I only keep the regular Sapphire to keep my 15k credit line on that - toss like $20 bucks of spend per year on that.

How long ago was this. Many people were told the same thing I was and applied and wasn't approve for the same reason

That was when the Reserve first came out with 100k offer. So quite a while ago (5 years).
....I realize now that's probably outdated and I'm probably grandfathered into some stuff.
It's best to disregard my opinion if others are saying you can't have multiple Sapphire products. Sorry!

But then again, I've always been honest about my income.
They may be waiting to see what's response this generates. That might've been what they were doing with the 80-to-100 bump.
