I mentioned the offer to my wife who is a Chase employee and she pulled it up on her internal system. It had a note that they had additional offers if you apply in a branch. You get the 100k points, 1st year AF waived, and a $50 grocery credit. So essentially an extra $145 for applying in the branch.
Wow. No brainer if you are eligible for the bonus.
I signed up for 80k offer just last week. Can I get chase to make it 100k?

Not per a poster on this thread whose wife works at Chase and saw it under the system for offers at Chase branches..

I personally just don't believe it. Generally the difference when doing it in person is just the waiving of the fee.

Anybody have any experience using the points for airline tickets? Maybe a plane ticket to Europe? Is it possible and straight forward to bring the point?

It's usually just the waiving of the fee (even that can be YMMV).
The baseline offer is already defined. 80K/$50 worked the same way.

Does anyone know how to find out when they got their last cardmember bonus? I opened my CSR in 2017, but don't remember what date I got my bonus. Now that the card is closed, I can't access my statements or my Ultimate Rewards to confirm. They can't access that information in the branch either. To make it even more confusing, their computer system doesn't let me open the CSP - but doesn't give any information why! Anyone else have this experience?

It would be within 4 months of getting the card.

I typically search my email for when I got the "welcome to your CSR" email, which is when I was approved. And then I typically hit the minimum spend within a month or two, so the bonus would post a month or two after that email. Maybe that helps?

Any idea why the Reserve doesn't get the same bonus offer? Does it ever get something like this?

If you don't think an easy $150 extra is worth your time, why are you wasting your time chasing deals @slickdeals?
There are places in this country that don't have Chase branches within hundreds of miles. I'll do a lot for some green but driving 4 hours to get to a branch (one way) is not worth my time. I'd rather wait for a referral and get the 150 that way. And there's no guarantee that there will be a waived AF and a $50 grocery credit, it's all just rumor at this point. Some comment on the internet about somebody's wife working for Chase in her system isn't exactly fact.

Check your credit report to find the exact month the account was opened. add 4 months for getting bonus reward points from that. That is what I did to find mine.

Not a piece of cake anymore since you lost on an even better deal....

"People are reporting that on 6/17, they will begin offering this deal in branches where they have the ability to waive the annual fee and offer the $50 grocery credit unless I am missing something"

Good for you if it's true, but my wife is also pre approved for this offer. She'll get the af waived once she gets her own cc. Didn't miss out at all. Perks of being married and doubling up on cc offers

Waived annual fee and $50 credit
Read earlier thread where someone whose wife works at Chase made that statement. His wife checked it on her "system".

Doubt it, just do it now!

Fantastic deal. Wish I could jump on. This is such a good deal if you wanted the CSR, I'd get this. Then after a year "upgrade" to the CSR.

This might be a good strategy anyway, the CSR get you 1.5 points on travel compared to 1.25 points on the CSP. Yes big AF difference. But if you plan on traveling next year, at least worth looking at.

This made a big difference on a recent Cancun trip. I didn't have enough AA miles to get two free tix. But I had more than enough Chase Points thanks to the 1.5 credit on their travel site. And yes, I checked pricing on same flights and was within just a couple dollars.
