I mentioned the offer to my wife who is a Chase employee and she pulled it up on her internal system. It had a note that they had additional offers if you apply in a branch. You get the 100k points, 1st year AF waived, and a $50 grocery credit. So essentially an extra $145 for applying in the branch.
Wow. No brainer if you are eligible for the bonus.
I signed up for 80k offer just last week. Can I get chase to make it 100k?

I don't know what the fuss is about credit hits unless you're in the gray zone needed for a house purchase, etc.
Take my wife, for example. She generally has 840+ FICO. When she opens a card (of many) the FICO goes down to 815-820. After several months it claws its way back.
Same with me. I ride a 820 FICO but then goes down to ~790 after a card app, but then things return back to normal.
Tried to sign up for chase ink unlimited but they require documentation so i want to cancel that application to get the csp instead. I have csr so i would need to product change it to freedom first. Found out after that i was over 48 months. Do i need to wait a month? Anyone try to cancel business card application if they don't approve right away?

Business card is totally different than the personal card. You don't have to cancel anything to apply for the CSP. To get the bonus for this card, you need to downgrade the CSR to a regular Sapphire or freedom card, wait a few weeks or a month till it hits your credit report and then apply.
1) I think I am 3 - 4 months away from being eligible since I did my CSR bonus, do you know if I called on they would be willing to work with me?
2) If the answer is no to #1, my wife is an authorized user on my CSR, is she eligible for this promotion?
ā1 _ No.
2 _ Being an authorized user on your Sapphire card does not disqualify her from applying for her own Sapphire card. The only effect it has on eligibility is that it counts toward the 5 (in the 5/24 rule). https://thepointsguy.com/news/sig...zed-users/
Note: If you somehow miscounted the number of cards she opened in the past 24 months and her credit application was subsequently denied because of the 5/24 rule, you may ask for reconsideration. There have been anecdotal reports of Chase approving the new card after the customer explained that one of the cards was for an authorized user.
I have a few personal cards and business cards from Chase. Chase Freedom Unlimited with $16K CL, Freedom with $5.5K, Flex with $500, Amazon with $5K, and 2 other business INK cards with $50K and $10K.
Last year I applied for their Chase Freedom Flex for the $200 sign up bonus. Although they approved my application, they only gave me $500 CL. I was like that's fine since all I wanted is the signup bonus, but that made me strongly believe Chase had granted me the maximum credit allowed and will not offer me any more new credit.
Should I still apply for the CSP, risk a hard pull, and then expect to negotiate with Chase Reconsideration? Does Chase allow to allocate credit line from business card to personal? Or should I call Chase in advance to find out why they offered me such a low CL for the Freedom Flex? But I think it is probably too late since the Flex was opened last September.
100K points for signup bonus is very tempting. I've been thinking of a way to increase the chance of getting approved.

Agree, but it still ticks me off. It has to be one of the dumbest metrics they use to qualify your score. I just bit the bullet and took the hit, but I admit I hesitated during the previous offer. But, for 100,000 points, no way I was turning that down.
I just logged into my wife's account and saw that she is already approved for the Sapphire Preferred card. When I clicked the link it prompted me to a pre-approved application. Then I wondered whether such pre-approval will cost her a hard pull. I scrolled down and found this: I understand that when I accept this offer, Chase will post an inquiry to my credit profile.
I've had the CSP for over 48 months, what would be my first step in getting this bonus again? Don't want to lose the points i have on the current card. thanks

that is probably a preapproval but I think the majority of new card issues require a pull of some sort
To answer my own question, Chase does pull a hard inquiry on pre-approval. I pulled the trigger for my wife, instantly got approved for $12.8K CL. Minutes later we got an alert from Chase Credit Journey operated by Transunion notifying me of a hard pull, and the new CSP account is now showing up online. We'll receive the new card in 5 days. Now thinking of a way to get myself approved.

2) Best bet: Close the CSR, after you've moved the entire limit to another card. Wait a couple days. Then have her apply.
