I mentioned the offer to my wife who is a Chase employee and she pulled it up on her internal system. It had a note that they had additional offers if you apply in a branch. You get the 100k points, 1st year AF waived, and a $50 grocery credit. So essentially an extra $145 for applying in the branch.
Wow. No brainer if you are eligible for the bonus.
I signed up for 80k offer just last week. Can I get chase to make it 100k?

Ok so I went to the bank. Got approved instantly. 100k points + $50 statement credit + waived first year.

If they are not sure, ask them to confirm with their manager. Glad I made a trip today since I will be making purchases later this week.

Do you need to make an appointment in advance these days or is it walk-in now?

No, just walk in. However, you will need to wait. I had to wait 20 minutes.

I tried to walk in for the 80K deal 2 weeks ago and they told me the next appointment they had was days later, so YMMV on that. It's painless to use their scheduler to book a time and hopefully avoid waiting when you get there too.

Can anyone confirm that this CSP 80k+20k / $50 Grocery Credit / $95 waived shows up in branch if you have has a previous Chase Sapphire card in the past?? The last 80k CSR offer did not show up as an option for me in branch and they said it was because I had a CSP card years ago (FYI I am beyond the 48 months for my last bonus point payout).

In your case, I'd recommend asking for reconsideration. Reconsideration line: (888) 270-2127.
Decided to give it a go, but to no avail. Spent over 45 minutes on the phone and she was going back and forth checking things, asking me things etc. Eventually the decision was still a no go, but now the reason changed to age of credit (got two new cards in May) as well as too high balance on cards (I pay off each card every month), so go figure. They can keep their damn plastic. nod

You probably have a credit freeze at Equifax. Lift it and call them back.

I got CSP last week for 80K bonus . Just called to see if they would up my bonus to 100K. Frist rep said nope. Called again and asked for a manager. After some back and forth she said "let me see what I can do" and then 5 minutes later "you are good to go." I hope she didn't say that to just get rid of me. YMMV.
So did you get the 100K bonus finally?

If I want to upgrade to CSR after opening this Preferred card, would they refund me the $95 annual fee as it's superseded by the $550? If I'm on the hook for both, then I'll just wait till my first anniversary date to upgrade.
