I mentioned the offer to my wife who is a Chase employee and she pulled it up on her internal system. It had a note that they had additional offers if you apply in a branch. You get the 100k points, 1st year AF waived, and a $50 grocery credit. So essentially an extra $145 for applying in the branch.
Wow. No brainer if you are eligible for the bonus.
I signed up for 80k offer just last week. Can I get chase to make it 100k?

Where do you see it mentioned ? My links are still 80k.
He said they are SUPPOSED to update. Apparently it didn't happen yet and nobody knows when it will

SUPPOSED in my understanding means there is some confirmation that it would eventually happen. Or that it started happening in phases to some customers. I just thought there was some new info/DP that DoC posted today that I couldn't find.

Right now 100k through referral links is pure speculation based on historical data. This one is somewhat different being the highest offer ever. So understandably some people sit on the edge whether to apply now or wait for link update, risking missing the offer.

HOPEFULLY they will update the links soon.

I am in the same boat as you, applied last week and no card yet. Online account gives a card number. Waiting to pull a larger costco purchase before they are out of stock on the item.
what's the item you are buying on Costco that is so hot it will sell out?

So are we safe signing up in any branch regardless of whether the rep is able to see and confirm the extra 20k points?

I do not know exactly when was the last time I got a sapphire bonus. Maybe around 4 years ago, not sure. I was told, when I called chase, that if I get approved then I will get the bonus offer and that mean that my last bonus must have been more than 4 years ago. And if I get declined for this card, then that means that my last sapphire bonus must have been less than 4 years and in that case I would not get a credit pull. So he encouraged me to apply and see, nothing to lose.
But I am not sure about that. Can anyone confirm if what he said is truth?
My concern is that, after I got approved and spend the $4k to qualify for the bonus, chase decides to deny the bonus saying that my last bonus was less than 48 months after all.

FYI - if you already have Chase Sapphire Reserve then you are not eligible for this CSP card since they both technically comes under "same" product category.. thats what I was told when I tried to apply for my wife and got denied
You can downgrade it to Freedom and then apply like a week later. Eligible if 48+ months from bonus

FWIW One branch I went to insisted that it was only 80k points. Didn't want to take a chance so went to another branch where it was 100k points.

Question: I got approved in branch & didn't receive any literature or emails. Is that expected? Or should I have received something explaining the points & the $50 grocery credit.

I downgraded my sapphire reserve to a freedom flex and I already have regular freedom and freedom unlimited. Now I got all 3 freedoms

My banker specially said I'll have everything emailed to me, including the fine print on the points promotion. 20 hours later I still haven't received anything in my email. We may have to wait a bit.

How long is it taking to receive the card? I am about to book a vacation and would like to take advantage of this deal. I see some have expedited it. How long is it taking?

I received this $50 grocery credit on the 80k points offer. It was a pleasant surprise and helped offset the $95 annual fee.
