I mentioned the offer to my wife who is a Chase employee and she pulled it up on her internal system. It had a note that they had additional offers if you apply in a branch. You get the 100k points, 1st year AF waived, and a $50 grocery credit. So essentially an extra $145 for applying in the branch.
Wow. No brainer if you are eligible for the bonus.
I signed up for 80k offer just last week. Can I get chase to make it 100k?

I don't think the $95 version card gives diamond status, gold probably. The hhonor points could be valuable in some special situations: I brought my family with me to a conference once and the revenue hilton jacked up the price and them gave conference goers a discount rate. But the place was not really on high demand so the award room was available. I ended up paying for another room with the points at 1.5 cents per point.
You're right -- it doesn't. Only the Aspire ($450 annual fee) gives Diamond status.
What is the minimum (smallest) credit line for this card? I know there is $4K of spend required, so I'm guessing the minimum credit line would be at least $5k. (I'm wondering how much credit line I would need and could slide from other Chase cards, if necessary.)
It's a Visa Signature card so the minimum credit line is indeed $5,000
Thanks for the info. What's your credit line on this new card? How much did you have to move from other cards? (I think I will probably have to do the same thing.)
I have 4 cards so I just moved enough to give me a $10000 credit limit.
Does anyone know if it will work if i have a chase sapphire checking account and i believe I received a bonus when i opened it?
The 48 month restriction applies to credit cards, not bank accounts.
