I mentioned the offer to my wife who is a Chase employee and she pulled it up on her internal system. It had a note that they had additional offers if you apply in a branch. You get the 100k points, 1st year AF waived, and a $50 grocery credit. So essentially an extra $145 for applying in the branch.
Wow. No brainer if you are eligible for the bonus.
I signed up for 80k offer just last week. Can I get chase to make it 100k?

Applied in branch for Sapphire Preferred and got rejected because the system still showed me as a Sapphire member. Rep told me to try again in 30 days 6/18/21
Applied in branch and approved 6/28/21
If you aren't getting the 100k in branch its because the rep does not know what they are doing. I called ahead of time and the person I called knew about the 100k bonus. When I got assigned a rep at the branch, I was assigned the VP of the store. This VP did not know about the 100k bonus. They brought over the lady I talked to on the phone and she showed the VP how to do it.
Similar situation happened to my friend at another branch, the older fellow said he's only seeing 80k bonus and his screen has all the up to date offers. He was WRONG as well.
Your credit card balance is reported to credit bureaus every month. It doesn't matter you pay in full each month. Creditors only see from your credit report that you have a recurring balance of $2K+ each month. Therefore, you should make a full payment before your next billing cycle ends. Then your $0 balance will be reported to credit bureaus. It will be a positive impact to your FICO and credit utilization. Until then it will be more easier to get your CSP approved.

Says my credit utilization is 16%. I have my monthly CC payment pending...should I have applied after that went through??
Must be a millennial. Have some patience. You don't need everything in life to be validated the second it happens. Spend your 4k and wait for the bonus to be posted. That's how SD has done these deals for decades.
Did you know back in the day you had to wait a week for the next tv show episode? Yeah, you couldn't just binge watch an entire season in one day. Crazy huh?
Wow, that is an incredibly stupid response. I want to be sure the bonus was applied. Chase has the capability for me to check, and it appears my bonus may not have been applied. I want to see if anyone else is seeing the same or if I need to contact Chase.
I am under the impression there would be a tracker that shows what percent of your bonus you have spent (see https://awardwallet.com/blog/chas...s-tracker/). I am seeing no bonus tracking, and am concerned the bonus was not applied.
You may want to try Chase Mobile app; the tracker seems to work there.

Read my response carefully. We have been doing these deals at SD for decades. Longer than some of you that have been alive. We know what we are doing and talking about. Spend your 4k and wait for the bonus to be posted. Screen shot everything. Watch for data points from other posters. You haven't even spent your 4k yet and you are already worried you don't have the bonus lol. Patience is a virtue.

Must be a boomer. Nothing should ever improve and the younger generation is lazy for doing things more efficiently.
The world is going to be such a better place once your generation is no longer the vast majority of our governing body.

They at least started off by saying "must be a millennial". It's like a warning, that you can dismiss the rest of their comment. 😁

The bonus tracker only shows on the Chase mobile app it seems. Dont be bothered by the boomers here, they probably dont even know what an app is.
In the future, is it always best to apply in branch for better bonuses? Missed out on the waived fee and groceries.
You may consider applying online with referral if you can take advantage of the referrer bonus currently at 20k points, e.g., referrals among family members.

I am using this number 888-270-2127 to contact them . I also checked application status in chase.co, but it does not show this application.
Not sure what to do next other than waiting for their review to complete...
