I mentioned the offer to my wife who is a Chase employee and she pulled it up on her internal system. It had a note that they had additional offers if you apply in a branch. You get the 100k points, 1st year AF waived, and a $50 grocery credit. So essentially an extra $145 for applying in the branch.
Wow. No brainer if you are eligible for the bonus.
I signed up for 80k offer just last week. Can I get chase to make it 100k?

$650 in Oct? I have it and paid $550 in April for 60K UR points, wonder if it is worth it to keep it at the next renewal.
The link of this deal shows the Annual Fee is $95. The Terms and Condition paper from the application page confirm it is $95 firm - no introductory lower Annual Fee or similar.
I do remember reading Saphire having much higher annual fee, like you noted here $550 or so.
So what is going on here? Are we to expect to have $95 annual fee if apply using this link, or there is something about annual fee not noted in the application that will come later, maybe on the second year anniversary and charge that huge annual fee of over $500?
Thanks

slickquack was referring to the Chase Sapphire Reserve (CSR), the CSP is only $95.00 luckily.
I know, luckily my dw got the CSP with 100K UR points and hopefully with some referrals and 50% bonus for the CSR travel redemption I come out breaking even.
There are two Sapphire cards, Sapphire Preferred with $95 AF, and Sapphire Reserve with $550 AF. This deal is for Sapphire Preferred as the title says. If applying online, there will be $95 AF with 100K bonus points. If applying in branch, there will be 80K points + 20K points + $95 AF waived + $50 grocery credit. I know this thread has had thousands of posts, but go reading several pages of posts will definitely give you a better idea of what's going on. Read first, ask questions later.

I've had a chase sapphire reserve card for years. Went to the branch today and was told I can't apply for preferred because I already have the reserve card :-(

Change it to a Freedom card and then get the CSP. Requirement is you had to have received the signup bonus from your CSR > 48 months ago. I'm currently doing this. Should wait 31 days after downgrading before applying.
I applied and got denied. The official reasons were the following:
-high debt relative to income
-one or more credit cards have a high balance compared to the credit line
-insufficient installment loan information
-total available credit on credit cards is too low
I was shocked since I currently have no personal credit card debt. Upon signing up for credit karma I saw that I am an authorized user on one of my family member's cards. He has a 18k owed balance on it with a 20k credit line. Good credit score/no late payments. But I immediately got myself removed as a authorized user and they told me the credit bureaus will reflect this soon.
The only other debt I have is 26k student loans. I make $36,400 a year. My only credit card is from 2013 which has no balance on it. My credit score is like 727.
Should I apply for this chase sapphire again? Or go for something else and not risk getting denied twice?
I was an AU on my father's card and he was carrying a large balance. Didn't know it would affect me (I really don't think it should). I had it removed and my score increased by like 15-20 points within a few weeks.
I had a Sapphire card couple years ago; I am not sure how long ago.But I what did was downgrade to the freedom couple months after I got the sapphire bonus.
Today I applied for this new sapphire card promotion so I could get the 100k promotion and I got approved for it today.
Does me getting approved means that I have successfully fulfilled the 48 month waiting window to get a new bonus?
Located in Phx. Went to branch yesterday and 100k points was the current bonus but guy who assisted, although aware of the annual fee waiver and grocery credit, was clueless and stated they were past offers and not currently available at this time. He looked up the current offer and showed me the screen and of course nothing listed. I quickly left then decided to go to another branch for the heck of it, didn't state I just visited another branch, but this rep stated there has been confusion amongst branches and a memo was released from Corp stating these two bonuses "could be offered" in addition to the 100k points, but then stated that he thought the online offer was only 80k. I told him that I know it's 100k because I've been to the site multiple times but he kind of ignored my comment. He did state "qualified" customers so not sure it is meant those who simply qualify or those who are preferred, I have a mortgage and other cards thru Chase. So I then reiterated the fact that if the initial annual fee is waived and the grocery credit is in play, then I'll proceed. He confirmed so I moved forward even though there was nothing on his screen that he could show me as confirmation because memo was internal so I guess only one way to find out. I took his business card for good measure just in case. Take it for what it's worth and hope this helps but as previous posters have stated, there is confusion and inconsistencies in how much effort or knowledge there is between branches.
Same situation with you, clueless rep, but once I got approved and she printed out my paperworks, it's all written there, 100k, waived AF and $50 grocery credit. Applied on the 25th and still no card in the mail.

You shouldn't be able to get it if you recently got the bonus. Since you still have the card after a product change, you can go online and check your old statements. They save them for up to 7 years, including through product changes and you could lookup exactly when you got the old Sapphire sign up bonus.

It's usually about a week if it's not expedited so maybe Friday or Saturday. After 2-3 days, it'll show up in the Chase app available to add to digital wallets, like Google/Samsung Pay/Paypal so it's possible to start spending at select places slightly sooner still.
I got the CSP couple weeks ago and already met the $4,000 spend requirement. I am planning on buying a new refrigerator and was wondering if there is any advantage in using this card to pay for it rather than discover thru PayPal for 5% cash back. Does this card provide any benefit on the purchase given that I will convert it to Chase Freedom in 11 months or so. Can anyone please chime in? TIA

CSP: New purchases are covered for up to 120 days in case of damage or theft, up to $500 per claim and $50,000 per account. You'll also get an extra year added onto the manufacturer's warranty on eligible warranties of three years or less.
Discover: No purchase protection. No extended warranty.
However, the 5% cash back might cover the cost of a third-party insurance plan (like Square Trade).

Thanks for your input. Really helpful. One question though…will I still get the extended warranty if I convert it to Chase Freedom in 11 months or so even before the extended warranty kicks in? Thanks
