I mentioned the offer to my wife who is a Chase employee and she pulled it up on her internal system. It had a note that they had additional offers if you apply in a branch. You get the 100k points, 1st year AF waived, and a $50 grocery credit. So essentially an extra $145 for applying in the branch.
Wow. No brainer if you are eligible for the bonus.
I signed up for 80k offer just last week. Can I get chase to make it 100k?

Do we have any idea how much longer this will be available? Won't be able to get to the branch until tomorrow.

Have figured out how to come up with a 2nd spend of 4K. Prepay 1K at VZW, 1K at Duke Power, 1K at Piedmont Natural gas and spend 1K with usual charges.

Thinking of applying for wife's card. I have sent the referral link to her as a text message. She works part time and has not that high of an income. Has excellent credit. Better than mine actually as some of the cards which we use daily are all in my name.

Planning on padding her income (it is OUR combined income after all). Any pit falls any of the experts want to chime in about?

If she does get audited by Chase, surely we can turn in her W2 and mine too. Right?

She is an authorized user on my Chase Freedom. I never added her to my CSP even as a user.
I'm on SS which is less than $20K a year, me and my wife applied at Chase Bank at the same time. We were both approved for separate CSP accounts, yes they go by combined income. Our credit score's are 800+ and combined income is about $100k.

Thanks! Wife product changed her Sapphire Reserve to Freedom on Friday. Think she's good to apply for this tomorrow?

Do anyone's cards progress bars actually say 100k?

I applied with a banker and he confirmed the 100k offer and told me that on the app it'd "say" 80k but it's really 100k. I'm suspicious.
If you apply at the branch then Chase kept the "80k bonus" wording in everything so that's all you'll see but on the backend of their system they added an extra 20k bonus pts after you meet the $4k min spend

People who apply online will see 100k tracker and will get 100k pts -- people who apply in branch will see 80k tracker but they'll get 80k+20k

She technically should be able to do it now (I was able to after 3 days), but if you want to give it an extra day to be safe, you can.

Does anyone know if I can transfer my Freedom point to this CSP, so that the points will worth more? Thanks

I was told yes from the branch office today. She said you can earn on Freedom then transfer to get the extra 25% when booking any travel thru ultimate rewards

Yes, I have done exactly like that. The Ultimate Rewards are transferrable among Freedom and Sapphire cards.

Question for the experts. My wife does not have a Chase account. She will use my referral link and apply online today. How does she get a chase account to initiate a 2 day delivery of the card as I believe you need an account number to register for Chase log in. Right?
You can also request expedited shipping when you call the Chase Reconsideration line: (888) 270-2127.

Personally, I find the Reconsideration agents to be more proficient than the regular Customer Service agents when with dealing with newly issued cards.

Also, whenever I have not been approved within 2 days of application, I always call the Reconsideration Line for a status update. Seems like the smallest details sometimes hang up the approval, a simple phone call cuts through the process.

P.S. I only request expedited shipping when I absolutely need it. Hopefully, if people use their good judgment when requesting same, Chase will continue extending the free courtesy.

Anyone have a good way to find out when I received my last sapphire bonus? (I did have preferred in '16 and reserve in '17) I called chase but the lady said she wouldn't know I would have to write or fax correspondence. I don't see anyway to check it in ultimate rewards and I don't see anything in creditkarma.

Just got the card approved and I see the card in my chase app/chase online account.

I am unable to locate where it shows the 100k bonus points and the tracking to 4k that folks have been talking about.

I did go into ultimate rewards and select the card, but I am having a hard time locating the bonus points info. Could anyone show me the specific area within ultimate rewards where it would show up?

Or should I wait till the card arrives (not sure how that would make a difference)?

Thank you in advance!

Follow the instructions on how to check your 5/24 status.
https://awardwallet.com/blog/how-...24-status/

For each Chase Sapphire account opening date add 4 months (or however many months you think you took to make each bonus). That will give you the approximate date that you presumably qualified for each card's respective bonus.

Please note that Chase awards its bonus on the date that it processes whatever purchase it took you to reach the minimum spend threshold. Bonus awards are not tied to billing cycles. The one extra month ("add 4 months", instead of 3 months) is to provide you with a margin for error and to account for delays in Chase's system to process some purchases.
