I mentioned the offer to my wife who is a Chase employee and she pulled it up on her internal system. It had a note that they had additional offers if you apply in a branch. You get the 100k points, 1st year AF waived, and a $50 grocery credit. So essentially an extra $145 for applying in the branch.
Wow. No brainer if you are eligible for the bonus.
I signed up for 80k offer just last week. Can I get chase to make it 100k?

Although that's a great deal - good job!, the math seems like it should have been even better(?). If you had 106,000 points (100,000 sign-up bonus + 6,000 shed purchase), that converts to $1,060 x 1.25 extra value for Pay-Yourself-Back = $1,325 credit. That would effectively make the shed $6,000 - $1,325 = $4,675. But you only received $1,250 in Pay-Yourself-Back credit ($6,000 - $4,750 = $1,250). I wonder why you didn't get the whole $1,325? Maybe you used those points on something else?
What's Menards? Is that a grocery store? Why would a grocery store sell a shed? I wouldnt be bragging about having to spend $4700 on a shed lol. Its like those people who say I used a 20% coupon to save on a $10k hot tub. What a great deal.
Any purchases made at grocery stores. Supermarket purchase is eligible but not wholesale clubs like Costco or BJ's. The grocery credit is automatically applied to your account once a qualified purchase is made, and it can be piecemeal which means credit applied until you reach $50.

How does one use the 50$ grocery credit, go to a super market like shoprite and purchase $50 worth of stuff?

Any exp date on it? I signed up for the card last month but spending $50 shouldn't be a problem.
New to doing credit cards for points to redeem for "free" air travel. Someone also mentioned we could do 2 SouthWest credit cards (1 business card) to accumulate the 125k points easily, which gets you a free companion pass. You can also reapply every 2 years.
Is this Chase card a better offer overall? Seems the free companion travel would beat it? I assume another difference though is with Chase you can fly any airline, but it's also on a 4yr renewal cycle before being able to get such a bonus again?
Approved with 5k limit and see qualification under chase account for 100k bonus. Little low but still rebuilding credit from charge offs. Have freedom unlimited 9400 limit and chase Amazon 4400 limit . I'm also authorized user on a sapphire reserve . Didn't need to remove my name
