I mentioned the offer to my wife who is a Chase employee and she pulled it up on her internal system. It had a note that they had additional offers if you apply in a branch. You get the 100k points, 1st year AF waived, and a $50 grocery credit. So essentially an extra $145 for applying in the branch.
Wow. No brainer if you are eligible for the bonus.
I signed up for 80k offer just last week. Can I get chase to make it 100k?

Does a purchase through square for a fence install apply to points? I searched through Google and really couldn't get a clear answer does anyone know?
I'm not that familiar with Square. It seems to operate like PayPal - but with fees. VISA charges made through PayPal count toward Chase bonuses, so I would guess that purchases made through SQUARE would count, too.
I suggest that you call Chase's customer service, (800) 493-3319, for an answer to your question.
Sign up a free account on CreditKarma[creditkarma.com] if you haven't done so. You can access your Equifax and Transunion credit reports there. Check either one for the account opening date of your CSR. As you remember it was sometime in early 2017, it wouldn't be too difficult to look up. Then add 4 months to the account opening date. If today's date is 48 months more than that, you are eligible for a new Sapphire bonus.

How can I check this? I've had my reserve since early 2017 , would there be a reward statement somewhere I can check?
I actually called the customer service number and asked if they can waive the fee. I told them that I should have just done it at the branch if I knew that the fee is waived for the first year over there, and they did refunded me.

I tried this just now and they told me since I got the 100k bonus they couldn't waive it. I'll try again later.

So I just called customer service. No go. Spoke to the rep and said since the terms of service on the card have the annual fee in there, they can't waive the fee since that is the offer that I applied for. I even escalated to a supervisor and got the same exact response despite telling them that had I gone through the bank, I would have been able to get the fee waived. So I'm going to say that this is a YMMV at best.
Why are people crying about the annual fee? Just eat the $95 and move on with your life. You're getting over $1100 in rewards when its all said and done. Do people not value their time?
Perfect timing for this credit card. My fridge crapped the bed so I decided to purchase brand new kitchen appliance set (fridge, stove, microwave and dishwasher) and will enjoy a trip to Mexico on Chase.

Which number did you called for that?

I have my CSR to be downgraded, it may take ~1 week before applying for the CSP.
Thanks!
I still gotta spend $2.5k in a month to hit $4k, do Visa gift cards count? What else can I buy to hit the $4k, any suggestion?
