I mentioned the offer to my wife who is a Chase employee and she pulled it up on her internal system. It had a note that they had additional offers if you apply in a branch. You get the 100k points, 1st year AF waived, and a $50 grocery credit. So essentially an extra $145 for applying in the branch.
Wow. No brainer if you are eligible for the bonus.
I signed up for 80k offer just last week. Can I get chase to make it 100k?

My wife and I both have CSR cards and have had them for over 48 months. Both open and used regularly.
2 Questions)
1) Can we each apply for CSP and receive 100k bonus?
2) Can we get refer each other and receive 20k bonus even though we both have CSR?
Thanks in advance.
You would have to downgrade your card to a non Sapphire card first and then you could. Doesnt work if you have a current Sapphire Card. Also, it is 48 months from any signup bonus being paid out, not card open date.
2. You must have a CSP to refer another. That being said, you cannot refer each other. The first applicant has to get approved first before being able to refer the second applicant to apply. In this case, only one 20K referral credit will be earned.

I got two sapphire card and approved instantly. i checked with customer service, they mentioned it is odd to approve two cards, but approved for 100K point each. Here is what i did.
I applied online, it was approved instantly, and later on the same day, i logged in my chase account, there was a pop up asking me to apply, i did again. it was approved as well. so trying to spend 8k in 3 months.
What the heck is Mecklenburg county? Pge used to charge over 2% but they reduced it to a flat rate since they need people to pay them as much money as possible to pay for their wildfire lawsuits.
is that county taxes, federal taxes or mortage taxes, can you provide more info?
For the ones stressing about reaching the 4K, I just got my 2nd 4K done. Turns out, due to COVID, our county is absorbing the CC fees to pay taxes. They generate and send the tax bills in Aug and we got our's last week. I was planning on going to the office but I decided to call them and ask if they charge fees in the office or not. The nice lady who was helping me (I know right?) said you do not need to go to the office as pay by phone and online both have the cc fees waived due to COVID. I just paid my taxes (usually pay in December) and crossed over the 4K and then some.
Now, I regret prepaying my gas bill and phone bills.
Here is an exceprt from our county payment website. You all should look into your's to see if you too can pay the taxes via CC for FREE.
In response to the COVID-19 state of emergency, Mecklenburg County will absorb credit and debit card service fees for the duration of the emergency. No fee will be charged to the payer when using a credit card, debit card, or electronic check (eCheck) to pay tax bills.

Hello just two quick questions, I searched "starbucks" in this thread and found nothing.
First, there are offers from starbucks, mcdonalds, and bestbuy where if you make a purchase, you get some cashback. If I take advantage of this offer and I spend exactly $4000, but some of the purchases are the offers where they give me a credit, will they count the credit against me and treat my spending like I spent less than $4k?
Second, if I redeem one of the offers and it still appears in the "offers" section as if I can still use it, can I double dip and redeem the offer a second time?
Thanks!!

Same here and you should NOT have called.
I have no status with UA. Best way to use points IMO is for business/first intercontinental flights.
