I mentioned the offer to my wife who is a Chase employee and she pulled it up on her internal system. It had a note that they had additional offers if you apply in a branch. You get the 100k points, 1st year AF waived, and a $50 grocery credit. So essentially an extra $145 for applying in the branch.
Wow. No brainer if you are eligible for the bonus.
I signed up for 80k offer just last week. Can I get chase to make it 100k?

Thanks for this. Do I need to have an account in Chase to do this? I currently don't have any accounts with Chase.
Just walk in to any Chase branch, point to your nose and loudly say you want to apply CSP, then you will be served with a seat, probably a coffee too. No Chase account needed.

I just got it thanks! After I get the bonus I'll go back to my Freedom Unlimited 1.5%. (It's nice to be able to pay rent on a credit card! It's like a rent rebate.)
How are you able to pay your rent with your freedom unlimited 1.5%?
I got my card approved. And the chase employee said it will take up to 10 days to get my card. But the 90 days period starts the day my application gets approved. So I'll actually have 80 days to spend my 4k.

You can call and ask for expedited delivery, typically 2 days.

If you're comfortable with adding your card to your phone you can add the card to a digital wallet and start using it where they accept digital payments. I use it with Apple Pay.
Is $95 activation fee means annual fee waived? For 1yr or more? And what did you say or how did you do?
Yes waived for the 1st year only. Just went in and asked about the promotion of the CSP and asked if they offered the $50 grocery credit and $95 annual fee wavier for 1st year.
They said they're only doing the annual fee wavier (California). YMMV.

Thank you, I just called them and it looks like they will be sending me a replacement which will arrive sooner than the other one. So i will have to discard the card they shipped first.

Its not allowing me to do that unless the card is activated
if i pay yourself back it's 25% more. then i can book for hotels using the rewards portal and pay $$$ and earn 25% more too. would that be a good way to do it?
I don't think you can earn points on points. Pay yourself back is the same as using those points for travel unless you transfer those points to an airline or hotel loyalty program and they happen to be offering more than 25%. Otherwise you can get a statement credit and pretty much spend that money somewhere for better rewards like a Chase Freedom card quarterly category for 5% to kind of earn points from points.

I haven't received the card details yet. Will I be able to see it somewhere?
Also, I did call the customer service. They said that they cannot expedite new card.

Strange I was able to do it at the bank during signup.
