I mentioned the offer to my wife who is a Chase employee and she pulled it up on her internal system. It had a note that they had additional offers if you apply in a branch. You get the 100k points, 1st year AF waived, and a $50 grocery credit. So essentially an extra $145 for applying in the branch.
Wow. No brainer if you are eligible for the bonus.
I signed up for 80k offer just last week. Can I get chase to make it 100k?

I called the Chase branch yesterday and the banker said if I applied in branch the AF will be waived the first year along with a $50 grocery credit. I'll report back after I apply in person today or tomorrow!
Chase branch folk are a confused bunch. A LOT did not know about the 100K in-branch promo inspite of multiple memos being sent to the branches. The Grocery credit is long gone. The in-branch rep can't give it to you even if they wanted to.

You will get the $95 annual fee waived for the first year and the new $50 hotel credit. If you apply online, you still get the hotel credit but you have to pay the $95 annual fee for the first year.

When I applied in the branch the employee walked me through adding the card to a digital wallet through the Chase app. I was able to do this with only the last 4 digits visible. I didn't know the full card number yet but the account was active and ready to use wherever apple pay was accepted. I was able to add it to paypal too for online purchases before the card came in 5 days later. Keeping in mind I applied Friday and it reached me Tuesday expedited.
What I had to do is first link it to my google pay and once I linked it there, I was able to link it to PayPal. When I initially tried to link to Paypal, it wouldn't give me the choice to link it for whatever reason. thanks

Hey all, I'm wondering if you can help me. There's a Chase branch next door to me, and I've now gone in three times over the last week to try to open the CSP with the $95 fee waived. Every time I've gone in, they say they're too busy and don't have a banker available, and to come back another day (which I've now done for the third time). I don't mind opening it online, but I really wanted the annual fee waived. Any chance I'll be able to get it waived after the fact? There's no other Chase branch too close to me so I'd prefer not to jump from one branch to another if I can avoid it.

Very slim chance to get the AF waived if signing up online. Corporate already decided not to waive such fee.

You should not just walk in, especially for a busy branch. Schedule an appointment on Chase.com and they must squeeze the time for you.

Combed back through the last 10 or so pages and didn't see any updated mention of when the SUB will or might end. Any insight?

IIRC previous mention was through Aug 19 or so. Trying to see if my pops still has time to downgrade his CSR and make it happen.

Few days ago, in my CSP reward dashboard, it shows me how much more I have to spend to get the 100k point new account sign up bonus. Now I could not find it anywhere in my account dashboard. Does anyone know where to find it?

Update 7/21/21: Reports indicate that this offer will likely be around at least through August 27th as some email offers are showing that end date. Could obviously be extended beyond that as well.

Hopefully that's the case. Gonna downgrade the CSR today

I have never had to wait that long for a Chase or any other credit card.

I suggest that you call them again and request expedited delivery. Expedited delivery (2 days) is the least that they can do for you at this point.

Does the 100k points equal $1000 cash that I can quickly direct deposit to my account? Also, what if I close my account before the year ends do I have to pay the points back?
