I mentioned the offer to my wife who is a Chase employee and she pulled it up on her internal system. It had a note that they had additional offers if you apply in a branch. You get the 100k points, 1st year AF waived, and a $50 grocery credit. So essentially an extra $145 for applying in the branch.
Wow. No brainer if you are eligible for the bonus.
I signed up for 80k offer just last week. Can I get chase to make it 100k?

I just applied via referal after verifying that I would get 100k on the link and got approved. I see the card in my chase app but don't see bonus spending tracker yet. How long did it take for others to see tracker on their account?

Took maybe a few hours/next day

Does it also considered as purchase if I pay my bills with this card?

If you sign up online, it will be after your first statement, beginning of next billing cycle.

The annual fee will be posted to your account on the first day of the following month after your account is open if you signed up online.

If you sign up in branch, it will be the 13th month after your account opening because the annual fee is waived for the first year.

The annual fee of $95 is suppose to be charged upon activation of the card correct? How soon?

In order for you to earn the referral bonus, the applicants must apply via your referral link. Referral cannot be done when signing up in branch.

Can I refer someone who can then open an account in branch? Basically can I collect a referral while they get this in branch offer?

Chase has never officially announced the end date of the offer. Based on other members' email invite, however, the expiration of the offer is 08/27/21. It could obviously be extended beyond that as well.

Where is this end date for the offer listed? I guess I missed it in the terms somewhere? I just downgraded today planning on applying in a few days but I guess I'd have to try tomorrow?

You can pay bills with a credit card as long as the entity you're paying allows it, and many do.

Generally, you can use a credit card to pay for bills like:

Utility bills, including water, gas and electric
Cellular or landline phone service
Cable and internet
Streaming and subscription services
Insurance
Medical bills
Federal and state taxes

These will be coded as purchases. Just be aware of possible fees you may be charged on credit card payments. For instance, IRS charges up to 1.99% for credit card payments. Some utility companies also charge a fee on credit card payments.

The annual fee is charged on the 1st of the month following account opening for members who signed up online. The annual fee will be charged on the 1st of the month after the one year anniversary for members who signed up in-branch.

Taz, unless I'm misreading your post, I think you're describing the way Chase used to apply annual fees years ago (charging the annual fee after the first statement). Not sure when they made the change, but I'm pretty sure that their current practice is as stated above. I have it on good authority that this is so [https://slickdeals.net/forums/showpost.php?p=149184802&postcount=3839]. Wink

My application was approved on March 30, I was billed the $95 annual fee on April 1.

When applying in branch, will I be approved that same day if I'm already pre-approved online?

I'm traveling the entire week after thanksgiving, so I want to be sure my 3 month bonus period lasts through that trip. Thanks!

There aren't that many datapoints about pre-approved offers:4/6 got immediate approvals.

2/6 had to wait for approvals.

The one highlighted in bold is the only one that seems to apply to your case of applying in branch (except it is unclear where that case's pre-approval originated from).

Good luck! The clock may be counting down on this offer ... [link] [doctorofcredit.com].

Guys, I redeemed my last Chase Sapphire bonus reward back in Aug13th, 2017. Can i apply for this card now or to be safe should i apply for it on September 1st to avoid a possible month counted towards the 48 months of previous redemption?

1dash1, Yes, you caught me! Thanks for correcting my mistake.

PpP5661, The annual fee will be posted to your account on the first day of the following month after your account is open if you signed up online. I double checked my account statement and confirm this. Sorry for the incorrect answer earlier.

It's not the date you redeemed your reward points it counts. It is the date your last Sapphire bonus credited to your account it counts. We are not sure whether Chase marks the exact date or just the month your last Sapphire bonus credited. So the best bet is add 4 months to your account opening date of your last Sapphire. If today's date is 48 months more than that, you are eligible for a new Sapphire bonus.

https://slickdeals.net/forums/showpost.php?p=149011702&postcount=3558

Today is supposedly the end date of the offer. We don't know whether the offer will be extended after today. It's no rush for you to sign up anyway.
