I mentioned the offer to my wife who is a Chase employee and she pulled it up on her internal system. It had a note that they had additional offers if you apply in a branch. You get the 100k points, 1st year AF waived, and a $50 grocery credit. So essentially an extra $145 for applying in the branch.
Wow. No brainer if you are eligible for the bonus.
I signed up for 80k offer just last week. Can I get chase to make it 100k?

Chase does not officially restrict the number of their credit cards that you can hold, but rather a cap on the overall credit limit they are willing to extend to you, and you can no longer apply for two Chase cards at the same time due to the 2/30 rule in addition to the 5/24 rule. The general rule of thumb is to limit applications to one personal and one business card within 90 days[thepointsguy.com].
You can certainly do that. Just don't have this approach on AMEX cards.
In regards to meet the $4K minimum spend, see this link[millionmilesecrets.com] for ideas. Manufacture spending should always come to the end because they are risky. Some are high and some are low. I suggest you read the complete guide here[frequentmiler.com] to understand the types of manufacture spending and the associated risks before proceeding.

So I am close to the 4k spending but I am realizing I do not have enough spending in the pay yourself categories. I do not travel so that does not work. I am wondering if I should go to my local grocery store and load up on giftcards and then use my points to pay myself back for the cards with the 25% discount. Is there any reason why this won't work or is not a good idea?
Sorry if this has already been asked, but is car insurance, cell phone bill and monthly medical insurance premium considered purchase? Just got approved and I'm not clear on what Chase considers purchase.
Yes, all of them will be considered ordinary purchase. The following types don't count.
Hotel accommodation purchases through the Ultimate Rewards program that qualify for the $50 Annual Ultimate Rewards Hotel Credit, balance transfers, cash advances and other cash-like transactions, lottery tickets, casino gaming chips, race track wagers or similar betting transactions, any checks that access your account, interest, unauthorized or fraudulent charges, and fees of any kind, including an annual fee, if applicable.

What does 100k points translate to? Serious question. Like an airplane ticket, couple nights at a hotel? Cash?
$1,250 Cashback considered you buy travel through Chase or pay yourself back. Right now till the end of the month that are running promotion to get 25% back in dining purchases.

I was approved for $10,600, so is someone I know. I wonder if that's the top amount you've received. Please share your experiences.
I read one of the earlier comments someone got $22k credit line, which is very nice. I'm a stay at home mom and listed income as otherā¦read on one of the blogs min income for a sapphire preferred approval is $30k so I listed my income of $31k. I got approved for $8400.
You don't need to reapply as long as the application is still being within 30 days. Each application will associate with an unique application number, and so does your in-branch application. When you contact Recon, they pull up your recent application to review. When they approve the application, that particular in-branch application with the unique application number will automatically waive the AF.
If it is more than 30 days since the application date, you will have to re-apply again because your consent to Chase accessing your credit report will have expired.
Chase has never made any official announcement about the end date. They increased the offer to 100K points in early June, and credit card welcome offers typically last anywhere from a few weeks to a few months until the budget of the promotion runs out, so it is best to act sooner if you're interested in this deal.
My application using referal link was denied 09/07/21 because of downgraded CSR was not cleared from my account. Should I apply again, or just call Chase Recon again few days later?
If they approve my application by calling Recon, will the bonus 20k points will still be applied?
Thanks!
No need to reapply as long as you are within 30 days. If you app finally approved by Recon, the referrer will still get the referral points.

I feel like we are all asking the same questions over and over, myself included =) I know its a long thread though...
I am pretty sure when you recon , they pull up the existing application. You can ask the question to the agent, just say I was referred , and I want to make sure the person referring me gets the bonus.
Its basically what I asked, if I apply in branch and then I call Recon if I will still get my fee waived. As long as an application was submitted the answer is yes.

I got $17,500 credit limit and already had $47,500 total credit limit from chase before applying so now I have $65,000 total credit limit through chase.

I understand this is an amazing deal with the most fruitful sign-up bonus ever for CSP, and it is the main reason why I've been here trying my best to share my mere knowledge and experience to help out everyone get on the train. I want everyone can enjoy the free money as I did. But I urge those who are interested in the deal to be patient in the waiting game of product change. If you apply too soon, you will get rejected for sure and it will create a hassle for yourself. Calling Recon over and over again is surely not fun. We should analyze the recent data points from the others to make the right move and maximize the approval odd. DP's shows that recently the wait time for the completion of product change is 1 to 2 weeks. No one should try to apply before reaching the 7th day after the request of product change. The longer wait the better.

There are extensive DP's showing that Chase will either auto deny the 2nd card, or approve it but cancel the 2nd account soon after [reddit.com] (while reporting the account/counting it toward 5/24).
