I mentioned the offer to my wife who is a Chase employee and she pulled it up on her internal system. It had a note that they had additional offers if you apply in a branch. You get the 100k points, 1st year AF waived, and a $50 grocery credit. So essentially an extra $145 for applying in the branch.
Wow. No brainer if you are eligible for the bonus.
I signed up for 80k offer just last week. Can I get chase to make it 100k?

Well I feel like an idiot. Didn't redeem anything with PYB before the grocery category ended. Now we have 250k points that we don't know what to do with. Won't be traveling anytime soon.
This 100k points only expires online sign up, but it is still alive in branch and new referrals. Just applied in branch today. Just walked in and out of branch in 15 minutes easy peasy. Card will arrive in roughly 5 days. Card is already accessible on chase app. Logged on and sent out referrals for 100k. Referrals promo will work until January next year 2022.

This worked! Signed up in- branch for 80,000, AF waived, and $50 grocery. The extra 20,000 showed up as "Other bonus and rewards activity."
TLDR: OgreDave, I'll wish you good luck in avoiding this, but expect to find that one of your new CSR or CSP's gets shut down in the next few days.

Admittedly, a few hours between applications isn't much time, but the fact that he did this on a weekend might actually have helped his chances by possibly delaying the review processing of his online application. I'd suggest that there is some room for hope.
FYI as another data point - no issues so far. I just met both spends (new flooring).
Dang.. I ended up applying for Fidelity CC. I thought it is expired as my Chase app says offer for CSP is 60k, it was showing 100k before. Should I go ahead and apply for this? My Fido was approved immediately (yesterday) i have now 2/24. Don't want to waste the HP.

Try to call up your local Chase branch first to confirm what they can still offer today (10/14). When BFF went to branch yesterday, was informed that they are phasing out the 100K from the local branches, as well, but did not say when.
Curious if you had to ask for the $50 grocery credit (which some in this thread claimed as having expired in July)?
Is it a credit applied to the card's balance after spending $50 worth in groceries?
It was part of the in-branch offer details when I signed up. And yes, the $50 grocery credit showed on first statement which included more than $50 in groceries.

Will do. Btw, your bff got grocery credit or hotel credit? Also, do they provide some written proof or anything that says I'll receive 100k bonus?

BFF didn't say and haven't heard back yet but I don't recall having heard the word "grocery" when we spoke. I'm guessing it's the hotel credit.
I asked the same question. Supposedly, when you go to the branch, they'll show you the disclosures + T&C that you need to electronically "sign" as part of the application. The 100000 points and waived $95 for first year are there. After the application is submitted, the branch will print out the disclosures + T&C for you.

Well I did a product change on my Reserve card last Tuesday, and applied online the next day on Wednesday, because it was believed that was the last day it would work.
I was declined, no surprise with the reason being I already have a Sapphire card. So I waited until today to call Recon. They said it could take 15-30 days for the product change to update in all of their systems, and then I would have to re-apply. They said nothing else they could do.

I understand now that you already got your first statement and see the grocery credit. Nice!

So I guess I may be out of luck on this one.
