I know a lot of people complain about HP dates. Here's one ready to go. Specs:

AMD Ryzen 7 5700G
RTX 3060 12GB
16GB 3200MHz RAM (2x8GB)
512GB NVMe SSD
1TB 7200rpm HDD
400W Platinum PSU
802.11a/b/g/n/ac (2x2) Wi-Fi® and Bluetooth® 5 combo

Use Coupon code: HP21MD10

I think this is a good option over the current FP deal because:

You only have to buy 1
Upgraded speed and size NVMe
Double the RAM
Better processor
Extra TB of storage
Ships tomorrow

For me that's worth the extra $100 or so.

Thanks for the update. Looks like only a couple of us got refunds. And free office 360 codes for the trouble. Definitely was a good deal for the price. I hope I can get another chance perhaps with a 3060 Ti next round. I would like to know how well the system is performing. Btw it seems the new non X Ryzen 5000's are being sold now in some Dell preorders.
Do you know if HP will charge you for the code afterwards although the pc was cancelled?

Mine arrived a couple days ago. Ordered before they went out of stock the first time. A couple of notes to answer questions:

1. This 400w PSU is rated GOLD instead of platinum. That's too bad, because the 400w platinum in the previous HP SFF I ordered (same chassis as this one, just with a 1650 Super and a Ryzen 3600) was an excellent power supply. I don't recommend this, but I was able to run a 3070 on it with zero issues. Don't do that with this one. I wouldn't run anything beyond the 3060 it ships with.

2. The stock Intel CPU cooler with the 5700G is TWICE as thick as the one that shipped with my previous 3600 model. That's a good thing, because that thinner one was insufficient to even properly cool the 3600.

3. The SSDs shipping with these little HPs are good SSDs. My previous one had a WD. This one came with an SK Hynix. Both fast NVME drives.

4. 2x8GB DDR4 is a nice touch.

5. Add an 80mm fan to the front side panel. It has holes for it. You will likely need a splitter to go off the same header as the exhaust fan. It's worth it and will help temps for both your CPU and GPU.

6. HP's custom 3060 is an impressive card. Even with only a single fan, thermals are decent and performance is on par with an EVGA. HP even had the taste to make it with a black PCB. The included fan cools it well, and it's quiet.

This is really a killer deal for what you get. This would be a fairly good price in a normal market, in my opinion.

It's the RTX 3060 the new model with LHR , or is it none LHR

The 3060 has always had a hashrate limiter. It targets ETH, but it can be bypassed by using the beta driver and a connected display or HDMI dummy plug just like any other 3060.

So when did you order yours? And this one can still be defeated via 470.05/dummy plug? I think that's what the last poster was asking since some EVGAs have the new hw id and arent recognized by the old leaked beta driver

Yes, it can. I ordered mine on the 29th, I believe. It arrived on the 4th. I have tested that with mine, and it worked. I bought it to build a gaming PC with the 3060 and use the CPU in another build, but I did test it out. Ran a full 24hr with that driver and the dummy plug. Zero issues once I dialed in the settings with MSI A.B.

Nice! Wonder how much longer the "old" LHR 3060 will be around

I'm also seeing this for $1199 with my edu account, however, 5GAMER2021 only brings it down to 1139.99 before taxes for me. Do you have any hunch what I could be doing differently than you?

My EPP discount knocked off another ~$60. it looks like it's not dropping the price for your edu account

Putting my 3060 thru the paces at the moment. What type of settings did you use and what hash rate did you end up with? Just want to see how these compare with other AIBs. thanks!

Here are my current settings in Afterburner:

Clock: -500
Mem: +1400
Fan: 85%
Power Limit: 72%
Current temp: 54c

50.06Mh/s, 122w, 410.4K efficiency

Only up to 50 shares so far with no rejects. If this holds, this is actually a better mining card than the nicer EVGA 3060 with the fancy backplate. I could never get the efficiency to hold at 400 unless I was willing to sacrifice 4-7Mh/s, and it was very unreliable at 50Mh/s. The card would lock up and crash the miner.

Additional pluses I see to this card are the small size, horizontal power connector port, and the very quiet single fan design. Thermals so far, despite the single fan, seem to be excellent, and better than my EVGA could do.

Update: I was able to get it to run at these settings with no issues for a full 24 hrs. Less than 1% rejected shares. I haven't ran it past that, as I had to shut my small rig down due to an insane thunderstorm. Didn't want to risk it.

oh nice, looks like you hit a bit of silicone lottery.
havent spent too much time pushing it, but mine tends to crash above 1300 mem clock

maybe i'll try pushing power limit up a bit. but i was looking for efficiency.
-500/1235/65%/57c nets me 46.36MH/s, 110W and 423K efficiency. I'm ok with sacrificing some hashes for the efficiency. most of my other 3060s are 450k eff +, so was trying to reach there with similar numbers, but it seems that just isnt in the cards for this one

Yeah, this is better than the EVGA 3060 I tried out. That card struggled to hit 50, and even at lower numbers in the high 40s, efficiency still wasn't good.
