Disclaimer: I've never tried this method myself, so I can't endorse/recommend it based on personal experience.

However, during the Tracfone Black Friday deal for this same device/model (Total Wireless and Tracfone are part of the same company), people discussed ways to *possibly* (?) GSM unlock this device using 'remote' unlock services on eBay. If going this route, please be sure to research the seller(s) first to ensure they are reputable before going forward.

I'm not sure if this method is even still valid today, but if you wish to learn more, here's a link to the previous thread with loads of comments from members here on the topic.

It has a nice, bright AMOLED screen but it has an in screen fingerprint reader that is finicky.

Bought three A50 sprint locked version from Walmart back in nov 2020 for $75 each plus sales tax- had to put it in an existing sprint line use for 50 days to get unlock for use on any network

Not a bad phone for the cost. Bought it as a temporary replacement for a cracked s8- not as fast as the s8 but then again for $75 it worked well

Compared to the "free" a32 5G promo ongoing for tmobile/ sprint customers who don't mind being locked in for another 24 months, the a50 has a better amoled screen

Thanks for the good information.

Ephesians 4:11–12 (CSB): 11 And he himself gave some to be apostles, some prophets, some evangelists, some pastors and teachers, 12 to equip the saints for the work of ministry, to build up the body of Christ.

WARNING - if you buy the phone don't transfer your number to them.
I did mine & they refuse to port it out to another provider. They gave me wrong acct # & pin to transfer out. I have lost my number. I have spent 3hrs each day talking to several different reps for the 3 days.

WARNING : Total Wireless are known to hijack your number.
