He's saying they charge $100 for 8gb of ram, you can buy 8gb of ram for $22 less than they charge….
The 5600G is a good gaming CPU. It trades blows with the i5 11400, for reference. It is a little more power efficient than current Intel CPUs.

The iGPU in this is vastly superior to any iGPU from Intel currently available, but that doesn't make much difference if you're making use of the 3060. If you pull the 3060 for another computer, the 5600G leaves you with a little PC that can still actually game at 1080p. Current AMD integrated graphics are impressive.
Wow, kind of stupid to expect that. Even the 3080 is far from perfect with 4k RT. 3060 is for people who want to maximize 1080p with ray tracing and dlss. Well not even, bc the 3060 ti is the one for that

Anyone know what brand 3060 it is or if it's LHR? You can almost get a free PC by just offloading the 3060.
Used to own an HP prebuilt, should be a basic 1 fan or 2 (mine was a 1-fan 1070) OEM card.

From what I've read in the other HP threads… it's a crap shoot. Apparently even among the exact same model. Sounds like it depends on what company HP is able to source from at any given time of production.

Got an HP Omen 30L in January (well, ordered in January, got it in April) and the card inside the omen had terrible thermal padding and temps. I had to go in and replace it for the card to run at full capacity for gaming. (3090)

I bought last weeks deal with the 5700g & 3060. I dropped it into my dual 3060 rig out of curiosity. It didn't like to play nice with my other Evga 3060 but on its own did 47.xx with the development driver.

I've only ever used Intel processors. I know how to company benchmarks, but any thoughts on using AMD v intel, for mostly gaming?
AMD has stepped it up. There shouldn't be any issues for gaming purposes.

Curious what people think about $3025 for this spec? Haven't shopped 3090's so not sure what price I should be aiming for:

OMEN 30L Desktop GT13-0380t

Intel® Core™ i7-10700K W/Liquid Cooling(3.8 GHz up to 5.1 GHz, 16 MB L3 cache, 8 cores)

HyperX® 16 GB DDR4-3200 XMP SDRAM (2 x 8 GB)

WD Black 512 GB PCIe® NVMe™ M.2 SSD

NVIDIA® GeForce RTX™ 3090 (24 GB GDDR6X dedicated)

Front Bezel Shadow Black Glass, Dark Chrome Logo Side Cover Glass with Cooler Master AMP 750 W Platinum efficiency power supply

Intel® Wi-Fi 6 AX 201 (2x2) and Bluetooth® 5 combo

Are these GPUs the same no-label trash as the 1660 Super in the Dell G5 that Gamer's Nexus destroyed in their review? I wouldn't think they could be that bad, but….

Is this fairly straightforward to do? I've built my own PCs but never messed around inside a GPU.

You can save an additional ~$22 by getting the 8GB DDR4-3200 configuration and upgrading the memory yourself to 16GB DDR4-3200.
Just an FYI. HP motherboards have no DOCP setting so any ram not bought from them has to be manually overclocked to advertized speed work Ryzenmaster.

I don't think you can put just any DDR4-3200 ram into HPs and get 3200.
You need to overclock it with Ryzenmaster as their Bios has no DOCP setting.
