2. What am I being charged for today and how does this work?
The New Boost Mobile SIM card is $0 and Shipping is Free. You'll be charged $15 for a $25 EPIN credit to be used towards the 5GB Plan. After checkout, an epin will be emailed to you so that you can use this credit when you activate your plan AFTER you have received the SIM card in the mail.
You may be charged at activation for a plan if the $25 Month plan with 5GB is not chosen.
3. What network does this work on?
The New Boost Mobile SIM works on Boost's Newly Expanded 5G Network that uses a GSM Network.
Note: There are two SIM cards for Boost Mobile's CDMA nationwide network. The older version will be outdated shortly. All new Boost Mobile customers will activate on Boost Mobile's newly Expanded Data network.
4. Will my phone work with this SIM Card?

5. Do I need to activate it? After I get my SIM card in the mail, what do I do?

$15 isn't that great for a month for a maybe backup phone. There are 1 year prepaid services you can get for $30, albeit with a lot less data, talk and text allowance. It lasts you longer if you'll rarely ever use it.
Who switches phone carriers on a monthly basis?
I do. Google Voice being my primary number, I can switch carriers and even phone numbers on a whim. It allows me to partake in so many great deals. Often I have decent service for months before I shell out anything.
It's been discussed to death here so won't go into details. If $15 for a month's service wasn't too much compared to the existing providers and deals I juggle between, I'd jump on this.

I have a Boost account, I have a ZTE warp 7, and a very old plan, which I think is $30/month (total), 3Gb data, unlimited talk and text... So could I benefit from a new plan and save money or get a better deal? Also, I may soon have a retired Galaxy S9 (Verizon). Could I use a Boost sim card in that S9 phone? I am looking to see if I should make any changes at this time.
