in branch application is $300 signup bonus after $1000 spend. that might be better. .
most recent i saw mentioned on this thread was $250; if it's back to $300, might be time to finally go get this! (I missed out on the initial offering despite its extension, as i was waiting for my amex bcp af to hit)
US Bank Connect for sure, off the top of my head. I think US Bank Cash+ does also. I'd have to look at my account history sometime to see about the others as I only use USB Connect to buy gas.
called local branch in northern va last week to see about the $300 sub offer, but was told there was only $200 with $1500 spend? seems janky, no point in going all the way to the branch if the offer is worse than online..
I got an offer to convert my Citi Double Cash card to this and I was about to do it but kind of realized the categories suck. Might make a good restaurant card or something but not sure if I could really utilize it right now. It reminds me a lot of the BoA Customized Cash Rewards but with less flexibility.
I need a new checking that provides cash back incentive that doesn't require keeping a large balance. Any recommendations? Have the citi card but their checking offers require a 15k deposit
go with sofi checking currently offering 1.85% interest on checking and savings
and if you do direct deposit they will give upto $300 one time bonus
and their credit card gives 3% on all purchases upto $600 or 12 months
i paid lot of rents and school fees with that 3% cb
American Express is aggressively clawing back gc purchases in recent years (which is why you can't used Blue Cash Preferred) and US Bank will outright cancel your card. But that isn't an issue (at least at the moment) with Citi, Chase and Discover. As an example, I just purchased about $6,000 with of gift cards with Chase.
Last year when there was a special extra 5% category on top of the groceries category, I bought lots of gift cards in addition to groceries, but my Chase Freedom Flex didn't give the extra 5% on those. They did give the regular 5% groceries though. Lost about $20 in rewards.

Just keep both. We have 2 of the Citi Custom cards; we use one for gas and the other for groceries. Double Cash gets used for any category that doesn't earn 3%+ on one of our cards.

I think I read somewhere that citi doesn't allow you to have more than one custom cash card at a time. Of course, if you're a married couple you could have one each.

I did almost the same thing and got the same offer in CA. No $300 offer.
