Mustad has a variety of hooks on clearance right now. Some of them are for more specialized types of fishing but some are good general use also. Listed below are just some of the more general use ones with the biggest discounts I could find. Some as low as $0.19/pack. Free shipping over $50. Not all sizes of available hooks are on clearance.

Shipping kills this
Shipping is almost same price as $11of hooks. Ugh.
FYI they always have a clearance page. But seems like their price went up a bit since the last time I looked at it.

That is the point indeed.. the regulation doesn't apply for bluefish. also it doesn't apply to using artificial lures. So jigs and bobbers and plastic swim baits don't need em because your more likely actively fishing rather than passively bait fishing.

I dunno. Should just have made all bait fishing be circle hooks instead. Shrug.
You're right madmax, there is a grey area in the regulations as there is some crossover between baits used for bluefish and stripers. In my experience though if you're using clams or bloodworms on a fish finder rig or high/low it's best to use a circle hook as those seem to be the preferred bait for stripers. Most guys I know who fish for blues use diamond jigs and other metal lures, albeit you can certainly catch them on bunker or other cut bait, and if you do you'll probably be happy to have used a circle hook as well since the fish will likely be hooked in the corner of the mouth versus gut hooked. Also, make sure your circles are inline circle hooks, offset circle hooks are not allowed for stripers. I don't disagree about all bait fishing using inline circles, that's all I use in the surf. When I fish rivers for big catfish I use offset circles and to be honest, I haven't noticed much of a difference in hook-ups between offset and inline circles. Tight lines!

Kinda looks like the one Gary Busey threw at Steven Seagal in Under Siege!
The only thing I can seem to remember about that movie has to do with Erika Eleniak and a Birthday Cake. LMAO

They make them for gators. Pretty big ones at that.

And pretty easy to make if you can pour your own lead
