The good old days of getting KS8000 for $700 when KS8000 had the features of Q90A. Sammy needs to stop downgrading stuff, tablet screens, plastic phones, MST off of the watch. Soon enough they'll sell you 10 year old tech and call it revolutionary

Still have my 55 KS8000 and 65 KS8500 till this day. Looking to upgrade to a new Sammy or LG that I can game at 120fps at but haven't seen any decent deals on 65 at $1500 or less. Anyone have any good recommendations for a replacement for a KS8000?
I've been waiting a long time for QLED IPS display. Honestly the viewing angles should be better. I can always tweak my settings to make the screen pop. Something you Can't do with a VA panel during the day

I have the same 65" KS8500 it still looks great for most content. I ended up getting a 55" CX OLED just for gaming and it is definitely worth it IMO.

Still have my KS8000, but more light bleed has appeared over time. I never was happy with its input lag in PC mode. Just sucks that the q90a is so expensive and only 1 hdmi 2.1 port.

The KS8000 was a great tv for its time but to say it matches the features of the Q90A is more than a bit of a stretch. The KS is an edge lit tv vs the mini LED Q90A.

Hisense 65U8G was on sale for $1150 at Best Buy last week. That's your best bet under $1500.

I've been buying Samsung forever, I'm a little concerned about switching over to a budget brand like Hisense. I keep hearing good things about the LGs though. I can probably live with only having one HDMI 2.1 port.
Any reason to go with the Hisense over an LG or another Samsung other than price?

Well take this deal for example. This Samsung q80a is about the same price as the U8G on sale last week. Yet the U8G is a noticeably better tv than this. Only reason to go with the Samsung is if you don't mind paying more for less.

If you created a Samsung account using the link it should still reflect on your Samsung account, I believe.
