I paid with Paypal using bank account as funding source and saw no discount. Maybe a good reason to leave a few C-notes in the PayPal balance.

I'm using this on PS5 and my only hesitation is that copying games to it may fill the cache and reduce write speeds to slower-than-spinning-disk speeds, but realistically I don't think I'll be copying from internal to external.

Also, DF's testing shows almost no difference between loading from PS5 internal ssd vs external SSD.

Lastly, QLC (QVO) memory tech has a much shorter lifespan than that used on EVO drives, but for game storage, 1TBW / 150GB per game is about 6, so at 1440TBW you're looking at installing over 230 AAA titles. At even $40 (vs 60) per game, you'd have to spend $9,200 on games before this puppy will be at risk of failing or slowing down.
There is a $15 off $125 targeted paypal offer that ends at 11am pdt or so
This will be my grandsons floppy 💾 disc when he grows up

Jokes apart this is cheaper for $161 on Samsung directly if you have EDU/EPP discount

Hmm for me it shows up on the Paypal screen but on the final checkout page the $15 off isn't being applied.

edit: I decided to go through with it and on Paypal it's showing the 15 off in the detaila
