My Motorola Power G Tracfone (ordered via a previous deal) seems to have arrived in a state where it can't use any sort of on-screen keyboard to send a text msg, add contacts or anything internet related. (or anything else for that matter) Only speech to text is available for typing, and that doesn't work very well at all.
I tested the phone by making a call when I first got it, then put it away for a few months. I only tried sending a text msg yesterday but could not input anything. Ordered a USB Type C to USB 3.1 adapter cable to try connecting a USB keyboard, but not sure I can get the normal on-screen keyboard functions working.
I've used many phones and never had an issue like this. I disabled some apps from using mobile data when I got it, but no working keyboad from the beginning is ridiculous, and this type of situation should be impossible!
EDIT: Fixed via reset; which was only possible by booting into it. Selecting the option when phone turned on normally resulted it in wanting my PIN, which was impossible to type.
