I got mine in the beginning of the year and it's worth the $200 that you spend for it. I use it casually whenever I feel like it so it hasn't had any problems, but if you do I had experiences with Logitech support and warranties before and they were great. I also heard about those problems but got it anyways.

That's what I was thinking, might as well wait a couple of days but these are actually the older models and they made newer versions a couple months ago im pretty sure. Chances are that the new ones would be on sale and the old ones would stay at this price but im not sure, again might as well wait and see.

The newer ones are barely any different. Mostly Marketing. The next step up is a Thrustmaster T300 RS GT or whatever the Xbox equivalent is.

It's noticeable better. But I don't know how I as a Slickdealer would be able to pull the trigger on it at $400 MSRP when it's been on sale for ~$300 (albeit not recently, and likely won't any time soon since they're still having supply issues).

I think a better value would be either go down a tier to this Logitech wheel that's on sale or up a tier (Fanatec CSL DD + CSL McLaren wheel + CSL pedals or other brand pedals ~$600-650).

If you've settled on getting this wheel and If you're playing on PC only or on PC + Playstation, get the G29 instead for around the same price, it is the same wheel but has more buttons.
