Thanks for reply. I knew it couldn't be on my end, as I could still get on all my other sites, but appreciated the confirmation!!

Making it just a little sweeter, since it was a new prescription, I used the pharmacy's promo to get a $25 gift card.

I have been shopping the perimeter of the store for a few years now. (Eating healthier and unprocessed foods)
I shop the middle for rebate items and to see what is included in a mega sale if I find woohoo

They also layout with the idea that customers bear right when they enter the store, and that if there are 2 doors, the busiest one with be on the right side so more impulse items will be there.
Vendors get end caps as a favor /promotional incentive. Not b/c items are on sale.
End caps are often where items go that won't fit in the back room. We'd get "firm orders" when buyers made a deal - bypassing the warehouse, the manufacturer would directly delivery a pallet of X to each store & we had to figure out what to do with it until it sold. There may/may not be a sale or the sale may not be for a month -sometimes I'd use firm order items as the base of a display and put that week's sale items on top.
Then there are the resets, which have the practical purpose of cutting in new items in a logical way. There's always clearance and new items, but if they shove the new item into the clearanced spot it may not really fit there. But they ALSO move things around so you can no longer make a beeline for the item you want, and have to look around. Which means you may buy something else. They know that the longer you are in the store, the more you spend. So they do whatever they can to slow you down.
