Thought something would have come out then. But didn't. It will hopefully be in late Sept./October when they release their phones.

I have a Nest hello installed in 2018. It worked well till until the end of 2020 and started going offline intermittently. The internal circuitry has an issue with weather being too cold or hot apparently which wasn't an issue the first 2 years. Now it goes offline whenever it feels like and a ton of users are reporting this on support.google.com forums. I regret getting this device and wiring it into home wiring. I am thinking of replacing it with one of the simpler doorbells that can take batteries and come with a standlone chime that can plug into a wall socket without needing all this additional connectivity.

I had 2 of the older ones still labeled as "nest" - one lost the microphone so they warranted it for me despite it being out of warranty- less than 6 months later the replacement fails and the front LED is a solid green but the lighted ring around the button shows no sign of life - pressing the button will not ring the doorbell

So I'm here looking for a replacement and see your post - glad I did
