Wondering the same. Apparently it was rumored that new Google hardware was going to be announced during Google I/O a few weeks ago, but idk what happened
Thought something would have come out then. But didn't. It will hopefully be in late Sept./October when they release their phones.
I had 2 of the older ones still labeled as "nest" - one lost the microphone so they warranted it for me despite it being out of warranty- less than 6 months later the replacement fails and the front LED is a solid green but the lighted ring around the button shows no sign of life - pressing the button will not ring the doorbell
So I'm here looking for a replacement and see your post - glad I did
