Might be smart to grab this if you're looking for it. These devices are going on sale less and less now that they've rolled out their "new" line of products that only work with the google home app.

This particular wired one works well with their original Nest app.

Thanks, that is why I am switching. I bought the battery model but I like Nest software and it does not work with the battery model.

Google is supposedly going to release a new hardwired model sometime next year that will most likely only work on the Google Home app (like all their recent refresh).

The current battery model can be hardwired but is a downgraded spec (compared to hardwired) and doesn't support 24/7 recording even if hardwired.
