The 32" ONN brand at Walmart was $118 for quite some time. Then around the switchover from Trump to Biden, all TV prices skyrocketed. I know it's Trump tariffs and inflation from all those stimulus incentives but god damn. This isn't a sale.
There was a 58" I forget what brand, also at Walmart going for $278. The 70" went for $448.
I know... because when I go on a WIC run for my kid, I do a quick lap around the store. I hang out there too much...

You'll be better off waiting for around Black Friday. There were some killer deals on TVs around that time last year, if you were quick enough. You're right, this isn't a deal….no clue how/why the same TVs (or at least TVs with the same specs) are going for the same prices they were a year ago.

Agreed 42" 720p insignia fire tv for $80 last BF
Actually at 32" or under a 720p looks identical to a 1080p to the human eye at normal viewing distance, google it.
