Amazon has been total crap on 2 day deliveries lately for many items.
I feel they gave up on that aspect of prime and used the pandemic as an excuse
But haven't returned to it yet :p

I don't even get why these exist. If it doesn't do otp it's pretty much useless for the average consumer.
I googled but did not find any good explanation of leveraging OTP with various applications and sites. Care to share?

Yep, if you're going to spend the money and jump into the FIDO2 world, spend a bit more and go for the newer YubiKey 5 keys. I use the OTP support constantly with the Yubico app, and I have yet to see a phone app/browser that would actually take advantage of NFC with these earlier versions.

EDIT: In response to why these exist, it's because they were created with the assumption phone apps/browsers would someday use NFC to read the key to authenticate, instead of requiring you to plug the key into the phone itself. Suffice to say, that hasn't really happened (or if it has, it certainly hasn't gone mainstream).

It works on the iPhone. I use it when I have to authenticate my Gmail.

Lastpass, bitwarden, keepass and several other password managers....it'll identify you to apps on your phone and probably on pc (I run linux so no idea about windows). I'd know more but I'm not paying them $50 for one.
