I'm debating which one to get, as well. At their normal prices, it's a no brainer. The G923 is incredibly overpriced. It's just a G920 with a Rev limiter, a few extra buttons, and the "TRUEFORCE" tech (you feel the engine etc sounds through the wheel), and different resistance spring in the brake pedal (people have been modding the brake pedal this way for years). Besides that, it's the same wheel. Most recommend doing the spring mod on the G920/G29, and that's about $35. That puts them about $33 apart after the mod. I think not having to order the part and take apart the brake pedal is worth paying $33 alone. The few added features are just a bonus. Well.... I think I just talked myself into getting this one 😂.
Im currently using a Logitech driving force pro that I got from goodwill. I love it and I've seen my times decrease alot. (With much practice) However it is SUPER loud and I want to learn to drive stick shift. In everyone's opinion, is the g923 worth the upgrade?
Hoping forza 5 supports it should be a no brainer but buying this for forza 5 mostly so if it doesn't have true force that's a bummmer
From what I've seen, Forza Horizon 4 isn't really designed for a wheel. It has the settings for it, but not much effort was put into making it wheel friendly, since most people use a controller. Every video I've seen of people trying it got better times with a controller. Hopefully FH5 will change that, but I doubt it, since most will players will still be using a controller.

Right now, only a couple of games support it, but I imagine that'll change in the future.
On other sites, it suggests that it does.
