Amazon (sold from woot) has 128 GB Surface Duo AT&T locked phone for $499.

https://www.amazon.com/Microsoft-...469&sr=8-4 Now $499.99

Note the description explicitly mentions that the item can not be unlocked (It seems Microsoft stopped giving unlock codes from Feb and people did not have any luck getting unlock codes from MS/AT&T).

It seems now the phone can be unlocked using the steps
https://forums.woot.com/t/microso.../782457/45

The unlocked version is available for $606 directly from amazon but the price is dropping everyday.

https://www.amazon.com/dp/B08JTDP...UTF8&psc=1 In Stock Soon, Orders Accepted

One seller has this for $620 as well.

You can always submit your best offer them. But I guess good luck getting it accepted or even looked at.

Wanted to get this during launch but the review turned me off. Got the Note instead. MS has a long way to catch up in the software side.

Buying this is a waste of money for most users since it is quite obviously not going to have software support for much longer. There is absolutely zero reason for Microsoft to pour money into maintaining an Android OS fork like this when they've completely abandoned all dual screen efforts (RIP Surface Neo & Windows 10X) and they have no hardware in the lineup that would even run this Android fork. Purchasing this is literally a novelty at this point and dual screen phones are not going to be a trend emerging; folding screen phones are the trend and that's not what this is. Additionally, this phone at launch was already years behind in terms of hardware specs, so it's an extremely poor value even at this price.

There's just no life in this product and that's exactly why it's on fire sale here.

It literally is at this point. If you don't believe it is, you are kidding yourself. Microsoft has literally ZERO reason to dump more money in maintaining this Android OS fork let alone continuing to add to its software capabilities. The number of active users is surely less than 100k at this point and having engineering resources dedicated to it is a net negative ROI. There is nothing in their hardware lineup that would run this forked OS and there has been essentially zero Android developer appetite for supporting separated dual screen devices (this is the only one). It's a novelty because there is no future of dual screen phones, just folding screen phones, and even those are not a sure thing as it is.

This is back to $499. There are reports now that the phone can be locked by contacting AT&T first and then Microsoft. See https://forums.woot.com/t/microso.../782457/45
