I wouldn't want to mess with 'New, Old Stock' when it comes to batteries.
The newer model Gooloo 2000A was posted just 3 days ago for $54 and the new Gooloo 1500A has been posted before at $45 .
I emailed Gooloo back today. Told them it still won't turn off after a couple drain/recharge cycles. Turns out I'm 3 months past warranty... which is pretty good considering I bought in 2019. (Figured it would be 90 days)
Since they don't have the GP200 any longer they offered to send me a different one or refund through Amazon. Unfortunately the one they offered only had 1200A and my diesel needs every bit of the 1500A version. So I told them I'd just take the refund as the one they offered wouldn't work for me, I needed the 1500A.
Well 30 minutes later I got the order confirmation of the new one they sent. They sent the 1500A (GT1500) unit instead. (More expensive than mine- which I paid $42 for)
Say what you will, call them shills or whatever but I'm impressed. When it worked it was great. Them sending out a new, nicer unit after warranty ended made me a believer. (Which is good because I recently ordered one of their float chargers from a SD and was thinking of returning it)

Then the battery ran down and it beeped for like 4 days! It finally died and stopped that damn beeping.
Well I wasn't happy. Worked out to be $25 per jump.
I did email the company and they told me to recharge it and see if that helped. Then if not improvement to send a video and they would refund or replace. I haven't had time to take a video yet.
So if they make it right I'll be ok with it. It's a "good" malfunction to have I guess. If I was stranded it would've worked. (Then never shut off)
But obviously I'm a little leery of this now. In researching this issue I found I wasn't alone.

I'd trust my life to Gooloo.
I agree USB c is way better the having to keep track of the barrel plug. However you are incorrect that usb c is slower as it can easily do 15v at 3-4 amps.
