There is zero replay. You often write on, fold, and tear objects to solve clues. Also once you know the solution not worth playing again anyhow.
Thanks for posting. I pick up these anytime they are around $10. We've played 5 of them and have 4 on the shelf. We also give them out to people as cheap gifts to introduce folks to fun at home escape room games.
EXIT: Dead Man On The Orient Express is also on sale for $7.99 (originally $14.95)!

Is there much replayability with these? How long does each game take to complete? Thanks in advance.

There isn't much replayability as some items need to be manipulated in order to solve a puzzle. The time really depends on your team. I have had a group solve one in two hours and another in four.

These are throwaway games, which is really unfortunate because usually only 1 or 2 components need to be destroyed or visibly manipulated out of the whole box. That said, I bought one from a thrift store that was obviously played and it was still a fun experience overall.

No, there is zero replayability with these exit games. It is a one time play through. Usually you have to manipulate or destroy stuff so you can't even pass it on to others.

Depending on difficulty level and group familiarity it typically takes 2 - 3 hours to play. We usually play with 3-4 people, any larger and everyone can't participate at once.

Nah, they are a one and done game. You can span it out over a few nights if you want to take your time but a lot of the riddles involve destroying/altering clues to advance.

Most of all, you know the riddle once you solve it and there is no challenge in revisiting it.

Wife and I have handed a few of the games to friends that we completed. Just so they can get a feel for the escape room in a box format. They usually can get a pretty good idea and a little bit of fun from it despite a few puzzles being "pre-solved"

Was about to grab one but the reviews on Amazon seem to say this particular one is worse than the rest in the series. If you already like the series this might be worth a shot, but I'd rather not ruin our first impression on a poorly done puzzle. Rep'd for introducing me to this concept though!

House of Riddles was our 1st one. Really great experience!
Did the Secret Lab for our 2nd... if we had flip flopped it would have been a much different experience. The difficulty and abstract format would have been really off putting if it wasn't for our previous experience with the House of Riddles.

I guess be mindful of the difficulty level indicated on the front of the box. Dont go full tilt for a starter! Great games tho!

I am a big time board game geek and have a few hundred games. Exit is the best I have ever played for an escape room category. Would highly recommend, though I would suggest you start with a level 2 difficulty before jumping in to a 3. They can be pretty hard (particularly if you want to solve without any clues/hints). Its a great game for a couple/spouse as well (you really don't NEED 3 or 4, though it can be easier with more). It looks like a small game and the thought of no replay value can turn some people off. But I would say that the thought and attention to detail that goes into these particular games is astonishing. I get surprised each time I play one of their sets.

The first time I played was the "Abandoned Cabin" and I brought it on a weekend getaway to… a cabin. Best decision ever, I would highly recommend it.

EXIT games are great. I have 12 including this one. Whenever I need to draw, fold, or cut, I just make copies. I can now lend to friends or sell after. :-)
