This phone reached End Of Life last year in December. Please read this article before you decided to purchase a device that doesn't get any updates or bug fixes.

FYI.
Pixel 1 and Pixel 2/2xl do not work on Visible Wireless. It's a known issue.
Can get data, but no voice or MMS even with the correct APN settings.
I just picked up an unlocked 2xl from WOOT, and Visible Wireless is a no-go.

The model number is GA00138-US which is the US factory unlocked 128 GB black model, so it should be possible to unlock the bootloader. Only the Verizon variants of the Pixels have permalocked bootloaders.

They do not know if the bootloader is unlockable. They do have a 30 day return policy.

I don't think this is a verizon phone. So should be rootable.

Was a great phone for most of the 3 years I have had it and no idea what the complaints are about the screen (OLED and 500+ ppi) or camera (one of the best when released a few years ago and still no slouch) but mine is starting to slow down on me and not work all so hot. I am looking forward to replacing it at this point; it works fine most of the time but the choppiness of it is noticeable.

Warm deal but the Pixel 3XL deal posted just recently beats this by a country mile and was a hot deal. There are no longer guaranteed security updates here, the screen on the XL has an unfortunate tint (I've owned all pixels except the 5 so I know what I'm talking about here), and jumping to the next generation of processor is an unqualified improvement (up until the Pixel 5).

Still this would be plenty for a backup device and or put a bumper case on it and let your young kid run amok with it.
