Separate line? I guess it overpasses the trap? Does it have it's own trap? Also most clogged toilets will have certain stuff floating around in the water, especially things like toilet paper can probably easily block these small lines, still a good idea but I am not sure if it's that effective.

Rental means a rental house. It means the person is buying this to install in his/her rental house. Nope, it is not going to be "returned"
Do people really not understand humor, or at some level at least an attempt at humor? Lots of these responses make it clear so no need to respond again.

that jacuzzi looks like a discontinued item.

i looked through the first 100 reviews. heres why these are this cheap and on final clearance.

made in china and built for smaller chinese people. the size is smaller. both on the bowl size and is narrower from the wall. it could fit on your 12 in to the bolt meassurement but there is a big space gap from the tank to wall.

basically they shrink they whole toilet by an inch compared to american standard size.

very low sitting water in bowl. cant adjust any higher. good for peeing but not for large dumps. how did they come up with this water setting? based on their own people avg dumps?

cheap quality. built and designed not for americans. got alot of returns. final clearance.
Are those reviews on shrinkage about the jacuzzi or the penguin toilets?

Umm, I think there's a reason there hasn't been overflow holes in toilets. Do you really want turd bits lingering in the overflow holes?

Despite this, I may just get it to replace the builder installed toilets. Soo low to the ground biggest problem is the pee splash is a chore to keep up with.
According to the doc, the overflow holes get rinsed on every flush.

Hope it helps.
Thanks!
The video says that the water through the rinse holes also flush the pathways through the overflow holes so you don't have to worry about overflow bits getting stuck in the drain.

I don't like the taller chair height toilets (for the same reason SquattyPotty needs to exist) but it may be necessary for them to fit the extra drainage.

I know nothing about toilets (except how to use them) trying to replace my current 16yr old ones. Is there anything I should look for when buying or would this more than suffice?
Avoid the low flow water saver toilets. Worthless as one ends up needing multiple flushes.

Picked up this American Standard yesterday:

https://www.lowes.com/pd/American...1000342273

$70 marked down from $279. Lowes guy said it was a great toilet they're just clearing out excess inventory. Said it would be great as long as it matched the other decor in my bathroom. Made the purchase after I stopped laughing.

Installed the toilet in under 30 minutes. All the hardware, wax ring, and slow close seat were included.

There were other toilets on clearance with deep discount that weren't listed on the Lowes website, had to go to the store to see what they had available.

Nice watched the vid. My only concerns are is it sacrificing main outlet diameter for that overflow outlet and will the trap for the overflow run dry if toilet is not clogged frequently enough to use it? Could lead to sewer gas creeping up.

EDIT: checked out some additional resources and looks liek this toilet really checks out. Picked up 3!

what about pee, surely a low flow saves water when it's only pee...

Thank you for your thoughtful reply. What do you think of this American Standard for $73?

Thank you so much for this information. I was able to find two about 45 minutes away. Got them for $84 each. This is a fantastic price if you can find it for an almost $300 toilet. The seat alone is worth $30.

You still save water as yellow never requires even a full flush.

Measure from the wall to the bolts on the floor. Make sure it is 12 inches and not 10 or 14.

By the way, some Jacuzzi toilets are also on clearance. I was able to get one for these for $100 (I liked the dual flush feature, and its one piece) https://brickseek.com/lowes-inven...1000181997 [brickseek.com]
I paid $168 for this one piece toilet during last memorial day sale. $100 is definitely a real deal.

Most toilets are a 12 inch rough in. However some are 10 inch rough in. Just make sure you choose the right one to avoid having to return the toilet. Also, get a wax ring.
