I just applied for two credit credit cards and I was approved on both. I then applied for a third and I was denied. I called in to find out why and the automated system told me that there were too many recent requests.

So, when trying to sign up for multiple cards, how long should one wait to apply for another card? And how long should I wait to reapply to the card that I was rejected from?

I'd say wait until you have 4 or less CC applications in the last 2 years on your credit history

Yeah it seems harder nowadays even with good scores. I got declined by US Bank and Capitol One Savor.
