I know some of this has been covered, but throwing this out there anyway as someone who has actually (delivered today) purchased this deal.
1. Brand new guitar. Unopened Fender box inside Adorama box. Not B-stock.
2. This isn't old stock they are clearing out. MX21.. serial, made this year.
3. Someone mentioned this being 75th anniversary edition. It's not the 75th anniversary edition. That one has a painted headstock, and the neck plate says 75th on it. This one does however have the "Fender 75" logo on the back of the headstock signifying the 75th anniversary.
I have owned mostly squiers, epiphones, and I had a Fender Duo-Sonic. I was not expecting this guitar to be that much better. I was wrong.
The finish is absolutely perfect. Color is beautiful. No issues with neck pocket cracking. The gloss finish on this maple fretboard seems less "thick" than was on the duo-sonic I had (also an Adorama LPB special). Plays better. The shiny chrome frets are super smooth along the neck. I literally can't find anything wrong with it and it feel amazing to play.
I know some people have issues, and maybe I just got really lucky with how great this one is, but I'm super happy with the purchase. A little tuning out of the box and it was ready to go, I don't think there is any setup even needed. By far the easiest guitar I've played and the pickups sound amazing on clean.

Its a 3rd batch. Or are you saying Fender sold adorama some guitars that said 2021 with 75th logo in 2019?

Try to find an 2013 area Fender fsr standard used.
Try to find a Fender Classic Player 50s Baja used
Try a Fender Vintera 50s Telecaster Modified.
Try a Fender American Performer Telecaster.
Try a Fender Professional Telecaster.
There's probably an Ultra too.

Do you ever wonder why Guitar Center only has the same 2-3 models on sale every time as well? And you can't tell me that black on black strat they put on sale every few months isn't popular.
You are talking about this above as if it's some different guitar than every other player strat out there. It's just a different color/neck combination that's all. It is still a Fender Player Stratocaster MIM. To get any color combo new at $520 is a great deal, and while some people might not like the color combo, I don't think anyone would say its ugly or horrible.
If your argument is Lake Placid Blue is a trash color, fine. Have your opinion. But not only have these sold out every year (or we'd be buying 2019 stock instead of 2021), they have been on backorder many times also. They are selling. They likely buy in small batches of this color combo and sell.
