You can't get high frame rates in 4K even with something like a 3090 driving it. This card can barely get 60-75FPS in most AAA games, forget about 120+. High frame rate 4K gaming is still kinda not a thing and probably won't be for another generation of cards. It's nice to know 4K is becoming more available in monitors, but 1440p (2K) will be the sweet spot for a while to come.
I'm having a hard time with finding a decent 1440p card let along 4k.
Yes, 2k/120+ is better than 4k/60

Rtings says it's good:

LG's Ergo Stand is essentially a monitor arm with a clamp that can attach to most desks with a thickness of 2.52" (6.4cm) to 4.8" (12.2cm). It feels very solid, and there's minimal wobble. The stand's total height is 17.9" (45.5cm).

Check rtings website for a comparison; both monitors are on there.

I've been looking at the Dell DGF and it's only trailing the LG in media creation and it's by .1 point (Dell 8.0 score vs LG 8.1 score for media creation)

Monitor stand vs monitor mount (LG's monitor) might be a deciding factor, as well as cost. I think the LG is more expensive still.

Does the stand clamp to desk or sit flat?? I cannot move my desk so I cannot use a clamp one it has to be a stand that sits flat on the table pls let me know thanks
As others have said you can clamp to rear (it is what I did) or it comes with an adapter to use a gromet hole. The problem I saw with the 2nd option was there was no way for the cables to cleanly route down through the gromet. The cables would come out the back of the pole and run to the rear of your desk. I guess I could have drilled another small 1" gromet for the cables but still wouldn't look clean.

Best stand I have ever used. Very stable and easy to move monitor around. I have the 32" which is even heavier and no issues. Check for Youtube videos demoing it.

Yeah it'll be blurry, but slightly. I have to run games at 1080p on a 4K monitor using an older gaming PC in my office I built around 2010 which contains a GTX 680 SC which was a beast during it's heyday, but for most of today's modern games, I'm forced to dial down the settings to 720-1080p w/ low to medium textures.

Going from 4k to 1080p is better than going from 2k to 1080p due to the interpolation that has to be done to convert 1440 to 1080. 2160 converts more cleanly to 1080 (obviously, half).

This isn't true i have a 3090 Doom Eternal for example with the last patch that just came out gets around 120 frames a second WITHOUT dlss using Ray tracing too. with dlss you get around 170 frames per second in 4k. The issue is so many games engines are so poorly optimized because the programers never even considered that the game could run at 4K 120 frames a second. Jedi Fallen order for example runs around 70 frames a second in 4k but uses around 40 - 50%of my 3090s power.

Before you say im full of crap here is a video of a person going through all of the DLSS modes and including off at 4k at first with a 3090 with Doom eternal new patch

Ugh, I'd still rather go 34" or 38" 21:9 instead of dual 27"s Frown Waiting for the 34/38 gaming monitors to drop

For a little more you can get something (slightly) better: https://www.dell.com/en-us/member...ccessories.

Personally, I think being able to get Dell's service plan for relatively cheap kind of covers the difference.
