Do you guys think if we apply for this card and Citi Custom Cash card at the same time (submit application within 1 minute) to get a better chance of getting approved?

Usually you can and the credit check will combine

Just got denied for this - 800+ credit. Already have 2 CCs with Citi for over 10 years. Very strange.
Make sure to call the reconsideration line.

No only redeemable in gift cards which sucks unless they have Amazon.
I think this can be redeemed to pay mortgage and/or student loans?

I have used the points to pay for mortgage a few years back. Don't know if it is still possible.

It looks like Citi has this interesting points expiry situation when you close cards.

If I have a Citi prestige card, then I get this card, then I combine my points into one thank you account, what happens when I close my prestige card?

At first I thought because they are in one pool, they won't expire because I have a card open but now it looks like points earned by the closed card will now be on a timer for expiration. Does any one have any experience on that?

Lots of people "surprised" online when their points disappeared but situation may be different.

I worked it out in the end.

Getting another thank you rewards card and cancelling the existing one would not prevent your existing points from expiring.

I have to take out the new card, get the bonus and then downgrade but not cancel the existing card.

I would also like to know when it would end, as I'm still not done with the $4k spend requirement for Chase Sapphire. That too, this being a MasterCard, cannot use at Costco where I make most of my BIG purchases :-(.

Is it weird that when I'm signed in on my Citi account I only see an offer for 60k points, but if I'm logged out I see the 80k offer?

I signed up and the offer page showed 80k but I was never emailed any confirmation of the 80k terms, which seems shady.
