What is the maximum amount of Chase card one can have?
No known limit, as long as you keep your credit limits among all your Chase cards no higher than ~ 50% of income, and are below 5/24 when applying.

Considering you have a high score, I wouldn't risk it. Wait at leasdt 6 mos between applying for revolving credit.
Unless one is buying/refinancing a home in those 6 months, that is overly conservative, especially for someone with an 800+ FICO.

yes. you go to redeem as cash, cash value is 400. I just applied for this card few mins ago, 7,500 limit.

I only did it because found out my car needs new clutch/transmission and its gonna cost me 5,000 installed. boom. day 1, getting those points. redeeming 800 in apple cards, for when iPhone 13 releases in few months. prob keep it open til next renewal and close it.

had a score of 807 fico it showed me when I applied

Citi's algorithm is possibly rejecting anybody who looks like an obvious opportunist.

Also, 800+ FICO isn't necessarily meaningful. How long is your credit history? If it's under 5 yrs, that's bad. Over 10 yrs is good.

Other factors come into play, too: income, job, assets, etc.

Bottom line: Naïve consumers tend to give way too much significance to FICO. Banks use a much more sophisticated risk model.

It's 14 hours labor @ 129 hour
Trans is 2500 msrp
Clutch is 900 in parts.

Toyota dealer. They only charged me like a grand labor. I won't go aftermarket one anything

Other dealers was even higher. My dealer took 800 off for me

Chase Sapphire Preferred or Capital One Venture have better intro offers on better cards. This is only worth getting if you're a churner who already has those.

Any chance to get annual fee waived on this Citibank card? What's the current intro offer with Capital One Venture?

Same as Costco card. Additional 2 years of warranty. Even if original warranty is only, for example, 3 months, this card will add 2 years on top of the original 3 months.

Got no choice. When other dealers say 6k and mine says 4800. That's no brained.

Parts was 3400 by themselves. I don't mind a grand in labor. Transmission wasn't worth repairing. I can't do it myself and I don't trust non dealers to be honest. Have always gotten screwed going to mom pop places or using aftermarket parts.

Yes it's a 2 year warranty extension. I've used Citi warranty a few times, the first time was an iPhone and got the apple store out of warranty replacement charge refunded. I highly recommend their service. It's a shame that Citi cards generally lag behind chase and Amex. The warranty is the only good thing left about them, other than this sign up bonus.

My application was denied - have great credit score and no hard inquiries in last 2 years.

Called reconsideration line and the guy was like "your cell carrier rejected the porting criteria" for your phone number - take it up with them. Called my cell provider and they said they have no idea what Citi is talking about.

Recalled reconsideration and the rep from South Dakota said she had no idea why it was initially rejected and the first guy basically had no idea what he was talking about. She approved it and pushed it through. Of note, she mentioned "some of the other offices do things differently" - maybe keep calling the reconsideration line until you get the South Dakota office?
