good deal if at $180, horrible deal at $280
i would wait until all the bitcoin people who are driving up hd storage prices to lose all their money before buying in this crazy price...

i thought mining was done with gpus for ETH, and BTC mining was with specialized miners. Is crypto really why hdd prices are high? Doesn't make sense to me. HDD cant be used for computations wtf am i missing lol or is it a hot new sh!t coin that for some reason uses hdd?

Yep, Chia. They have proof of work, going to try proof of stake and now - proof of space. Crypto bros need to keep reinventing things to keep making money.
